That's a fair point to make Titan. That being said surely we could have beaten one of two of them over the years on a good day. But as has been said our self belief runs out the door and probably our 'game plan' too and this combined with good teams which you well point out result in our rubbish form against other Victorian clubs. It's just hard to swallow that we can only perform well against struggling interstate teams at the MCG. I'm sure the boys will give their all next week against the Tiogs and hopefully it's the start of a few on the trot. Just seeing some consistent good form will go a long way to making up for our performance against the Pies.

Why can't we beat Victorian teams other than Essaden and the Tiogs?? Thumping Freo/Gold Coast/Crows by huge margins is much cause for back slapping IMHO. Why can't we play consistently. I dont care if we lose a game by 15 points at least we bloody well had a crack! Have a crack against the Tiogs boys and win lose or draw I'll be proud of you!

Despite a shocking year for the Dees a few players have really stepped up. None more so than Jack Watts and Steff Martin and I'm glad they're gunning it today. That said, it's no great achievement to thump Freo at the MCG on a Sunday when we play like rubbish against Victorian teams.

I can imagine down the track a Grand Final team with a Forward Line as such... Dunn Watts Petterd Tapscott Green Jurrah I wonder what kind of contract Dunny has got with the club. I havent heard where he is with regards to that. To have a defensive forward who can kick bags and has a big tank is someone worth keeping as they are as rare as hens teeth.

Miller should be dropped more often if he kicks 4 goals on return. Still I dont see him as part of our future. This is one game. In Darwin. He has been such a waste for so long one good performance wont get me putting him in our Grand Final side.

Why on earth did we drop Dunn and bring in Wonna who is not fit. Dunn is another big mark in the forward line and we went for a slow, unfit, injury prone forward for reasons beyond getting the best team on the park. I'm glad Watts is proving the doubters wrong. Kick a bag son!

This was no reality check. This was an absolute bloody disgrace. Yes the umpires were yet again useless but we were shocking. It is just like Melbourne to come to a game favourite to win and then not turn up. We never wanted this game and we never had the guts to win it. I cant think of one player who earned their match fee for the game they were all pathetic! Heads must roll on this performance. I hope the 2s played well. If we cant beat the Weagles at the G Port are going to smash us in Darwin

The decision to overrule Dunn's goal cost us the match. We played better than the Doggies and even Lake admitted they were crap and yet the bloody Umpires decide the game. I am used to being dudded by the Umps as a Melbourne supporter but this was a disgrace and if ever we were allowed to say it..."we waz robbed!" But there are so many positives for us to take away and out of the bad we must focus on the good because there's a lot to be happy about for our future.

He is still slow but played better than last week so no apologies from me.

Dunn haters back in force on Demonland. The kid took 10 marks last week and you're going to drop him instead of Bate who was as slow and useless as Jamie Shanahan on a bad day. If I were dropping three people it would be Bate, Scully, and Bartram.

Simple Out - Bate In - Sylvia Look while Dunn did make 2 shocking errors in the last quarter, he was a big target off the 50 line, took 10 marks, was handy in the ruck forward and got 20 touches, not to mention a couple of metres off kicking 2 goals. His kicking was not as on song as it was against the Pies but when he's improving I would not dump him. Let's face it Dunn held onto 10 today while Miller would be lucky to hold onto half of those. Bate was shocking today and while he kicked 2 receiver goals, he was slow, couldnt kick 20m, kicked into the man on the mark ect. Bate is not 100% fit and he should go to Casey.

Trengove should have been pick number 1. Probably hard on Scully considering his 3rd game of his AFL career but turning into an Adelaide player and getting tackled was just shocking. Really hope he lifts next week because he's got the talent there. Dunn/Newton battled hard got a lot of the ball and presented well (especially Dunn leading up the ground - 10 marks) some clangers were shocking but that's what happens when you recruit forwards and give them very little game time or play them as mid-fielders when they're forwards (RE Dunn). Sylvia in next week. Wonna I wouldnt waste our time on IMHO. Rivers in next week but who to take out???

Dunn can either be an onballer or a key position forward... Dunn has never been given a fair go by the club. Whenever he gets consistent game time he performs... It's not his fault Bails dislikes him, he is a gun player and I think we'd be stupid not to sign the fella up for 3 years...Hell we did for Bell and he's shocking at least Dunn has clean skills!
