  1. I reckon we'll see us innovate and continue to evolve over summer irrespective of whether we win the flag or not. The IP thing wouldn't bother us IMO.
  2. If you go through the MFC YouTube Channel you'll keep up to date with them. There have only been 3 videos in the series. I don't expect they'll interview Clarry, although they should. Here is Jack Viney - Here is Max - GL you'll note is the original host and HM has hosted the last two - on the same day as well, so I wonder if they did a 3rd or 4th interview with HM to get bang for buck in this series.
  3. It's been a great little series so far. So Hamish McLaughlin is just a gun for hire here, right? He has no Melbourne allegiance does he?
  4. I haven't noticed this. I've noticed this line of thought that he's susceptible close to goal, come up a bit recently though. I hope so. He's a very good player. I'd back Koz to get a few on anyone if he plays deep though.
  5. I'd argue Howe is an elite interceptor too and Maynard goes alright, but agree with your first three selections, Boss.
  6. Sounds like they're laying the groundwork for a loss...
  7. Weather will be a factor in selection. Dry conditions and we play Gawndy. If it's wet, I reckon we'll go smaller and may even bring in a small like Laurie to the 22 and bring in another runner to the sub role (Spargo?). So retain Turner and have Smith up our sleeve as a back up. It was interesting that Max noted I'm his presser today that Gawndy has often played in wet conditions. I wonder if that's the internal vibe out of the club, that those selections were a mistake. And if I'm on the money there (which is rare), our extended bench could be huge. Is there a limit on extended benches?
  8. My impression has always been that we lost a lot of supporters to Hawthorn and Richmond over the years. And probably the Essendon's and Carlton's too.
  9. I'm pretty sure the AFL ap picked the exact same team.
  10. I've been hoping and waiting all season for us to play Grundy in the ruck and Max behind the ball. Maybe we unveil it in a QF? Despite loving the percentages, Goody is the sort of coach that could wait until the QF to try this.
  11. And of course, has more forward space now minus Melksham. But I suppose that depends who we replace Jake with. Kozzy looked great out of the square last week.
  12. Bell is old school and look at the results. We're little fuss and get the job done every time.
  13. Yeah, you just don't feed them in a while.
  14. Love that team. But I'd like an extra small in the forward half please. And probably a tall up the other end in Turner.
  15. When up and going, they're as big as Collingwood, Carlton and Richmond. There's still a reasonable drop off.
  16. I'd rather Smith in that mix. It was Smith and Fritta that rotated on Moore on KB. TMac is too slow to play on Moore, I reckon. Unless TMac can drag Moore up the ground, but that makes his intercept marking potentially more dangerous. It's a tough one.
  17. We may also want to drag Quaynor up the ground by playing Kozzy higher, but I still think in a big pressure final, I'd back Kozzy one out in the square. And I rate Quaynor very highly.
  18. Not much haha. He's probably off too!
  19. Merrett was on the bench. Yep, we'd comfortably take care of that team. We'd have to clone Trac of course.
  20. Congrats Trac, but someone like Zach Merrett ahead of Viney? Are you [censored] kidding me?
  21. DC, you must be shattered, mate, you've been providing great updates all the way along, and bloody @dazzledavey36 pips you at the post. 🤣
  22. Agreed, but we saw what the Bulldogs just did with Mitch Hannan. I'd say Melksham will retire and Dunstan might get another year.
  23. Tom Lynch for two years please. Otherwise, Naughton please. Thanks very much. Is that all we have to do for it to come true?
