I think Morton will get the role on Goodes again. He shut him down so affectively last time. That was the best game I witnessed an MFC player play last year. It certainly made the drive back to Melbourne a little more bearable.

Agreed. Played a very good game. Deserves a recall next week. He just build on that now, in order to maintain his place on the list, come seasons end.

Got a lot of pricks, Freo. Solid second half, pitiful first half. And you can see the headlines again: Melbourne blame poor start. Watts has to kick those goals and Bate had a reasonably ordinary game. His kicking for goal really cost us. While positives for me were Scully, JB, McKenzie and Frawley.

Moloney's probably had five good games and never away from the MCG.

Please get rid of Bruce. How he can possibly be in our leadership group is a blight on the rest of our team.

The last two weeks, Garland has turned the ball over a couple of times in the first quarter. Most of the time, these turnovers have resulted in goals. He has to get better at this. I love him, but he's had a very ordinary start.

Every time we go interstate the coach and players talk about turning around a hoodoo and every bloody time, [censored] all happens. We have absolutely no leaders interstate.

Whenever Bruce goes near it...for a "leader" his panic under pressure is absolutely pathetic. Last season, please.

We simply cannot handle the pressure of the second bottom side. What does that tell you?

Admittedly, he impressed me today. He was the one rallying the troops. He was the one standing up, when the game was in the balance. He has to do it consistently to be a leader. I hope today is the start of the consistency. He was massive for us today though. Particularly in that last quarter.

I still don't understand why people want to play Garland up forward. He absolutely smash it down back today and he served up the form that got me so excited about him during 2008. Keep him down back.

I remember Garry kicked ten against the Dons one year, or am I mistaken. Might have been nine. Either way, I was at the Footscray final, very memorable.

I certainly don't go near the snow but we had a bunch of [censored] twats behind us last week that were all Melbourne (probably 8 of them). In their early to mid 30s, with their children (who kept changing teams every two seconds, even though they were dressed in MFC jumpers), discussing the snow. It gives us all a bad name. Gives me the shits, but I guess it's that jealousy thing. People hate Collingwood because they're a rich club, just as people play the snow card with us. I get annoyed with it, because the subtext is we're not passionate or care about our club. It couldn't be further from the truth, regarding my family and as has been pointed out, we are a very vocal supporter base, if smaller than the bigger Melbourne clubs.

I'd be keeping the pick. Unless an absolute gun full forward was on the market -- Buddy is about the only one I'd go for.

I disagree. I don't think we change our game style particularly much in the wet weather. I'm not saying I know the answer, but perhaps it could have something to do with us still taking the game on (playing our usual run and carry style) and the opposition playing safe football?
