  1. Give them something to think about.
  2. Very interesting to hear that. Treloar is just as good as Shiel, IMO. I wonder what they're thinking. Have you heard whether it's in line with Shiel's deal?
  3. Get Jack McRae. Gun. Okay, so he might have defensive deficiencies, but they can be worked on. Absolute ball magnet. Luke hasn't been playing him much at the Dogs. We should be approaching him now with a nice little package.
  4. He doesn't try to overkick them. That's his secret. That last goal against Richmond in the pocket was a perfect example. Not an easy angle, but made it look easy.
  5. Robbo mentioned it. Roos started off by insinuating they weren't that similar and then by the end of the conversation, he said there were similarities (to placate the drunk football writer).
  6. I don't remember anyone saying that. I certainly said his disposal needed to improve if he was going to make it. I stand by that, but I think he's improved it and continues to do so. EDIT. But don't get me wrong. I love him.
  7. We play it quietly and professionally these days.
  8. Not saying Suckling is right necessarily, but Salem is the only back flanker we have (soon to be midfielder) that can kick a football properly. We need to target these type of players.
  9. What I meant was that we will add to our inside grunt again this off season and we should also be adding to our outside stocks. We need good ball users. And I'm certainly not happy with our midfield. It still needs two more off seasons.
  10. That's why it's usually better adding those players once you've got your inside, contested grunt. We have that now. We should be targeting these types now. I'd be going McKenzie at Gold Coast.
  11. Forget about the draft. We will be trading, methinks.
  12. I'd prefer it to be against Essendon. Jeffy can kick his 10 against Carlton. :D
  13. Watts is doing the right things now. He also seems to be one of the only players who isn't afraid to back himself. Surely, yesterday was evidence of this. Watts, Toumpas and Cross will and should stay. The rest will and should go.
  14. I don't mind a bit of hot air sometimes.
  15. That is all he can do. He's not even that elite. Jones goes, Watts clearly stays and McKenzie goes.
  16. I want both too. I don't think it's too greedy at all. Aish is struggling to cement his place at Brisbane. He shouldn't be our first target. We need to go hard for A graders/cusp of A grade at the end of this year. Prestia and Coniglio are the go for mine too. As you note, it's all about whether we have enough to get them both.
  17. There's about four or five players at Essendon I would go after (if it weren't for ASADA/WADA). Carlisle would be one of them. I can't understand them wanting to let him go. Unless it's more about him wanting out.
  18. It really depends on what we have to give up to get Aish, IMO. We could get Aish and someone even better.
  19. Quick, slick skills. Makes sense.
  20. Depends what you can get them for. Carlisle is the only one I'd touch though.
  21. Yeah, I can see this happening and agree with probably landing someone from GWS, GC or Sydney.
  22. Agreed. The difficulty is having the currency to bring a genuine A grader in. Who do you think we should be looking at there?
