Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
"7-8 years experience". That gives me 'nam flashbacks to my post-uni job hunting days. "We are looking for a graduate with 40 years experience to be our unpaid intern for six months."

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I don't think his social media account is anything more than a branding exercise. It's all branded posts that are very specifically tied to his personal brand. I wouldn't read too much into it other than Christian probably ranks his marketability way higher than the general public does.

- 2025 AFL Premiers Poll
I have no idea. In my view all teams can win it. Historically, the best defensive teams have the best chance to win it. A few outliers but you can pick out teams who are scored against too easily, too often. gws and freo. I'd put money on one of Adelaide, Collingwood or Hawthorn. Gold Coast is a smokey if they get going.- Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?

Gee, you couldn't ask for a better time to be looking for a coach. There isn't one person from that list that I wouldn't be happy with.- Cam Bruce to Melbourne?

Those in the 10th-14th range have all demonstrated this round that they have all grossly underperformed this year. We won 11 games last year and finished 14th. We have 7 this year and finished...14th. Says a lot. I reckon the top 8 will look very different next year. I wonder if the lose coach keeps their job.- Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
There is a reason why Adelaide was happy to see him go.- Players Unwritten Code
Not sure how it would work. I said i agreed with the punishment. I don't think is there is an easy answer. And I don't think there is a way to escape it. I'm not saying to avoid the exposure or public knowledge. Rather deal with it and propose a solution. The AFL has lost all respect for its process with this. Either there is a rule and clear penalty or there isn't. How exactly would any sort of medical condition have justified it? The best solution here was probably the AFL coming out and investigating, if it's determined he said it, it is a suspension. That's it. You either said it or you didn't. The AFL opens the door to contesting the punishment so it becomes a circus. You can't be subjective with definitive language. In the NBA it would have been a flat out suspension or fine. That's it. Take it and move on.- Players Unwritten Code
My honest view is that there is an unwritten law and it probably could have been dealt with between peers. I also don't have an issue with the punishment. But I am admittedly uneasy about how it all transpired. Honestly I reckon it would have been better for everyone including the LGBTQ community if it was dealt with behind closed doors. I also wonder if Collingwood would have said anything if it was in round 1.- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
Woah it's almost like he's the CEO and the performance of the club across all key metrics ultimately falls on him. Huge if true.- POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
I must have been watching another game. May made some shocking errors but overall was good. Petracca was everywhere trying to get us over the line in the last. Maybe it looked different on TV for me.- POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
100%. But we are close. I think we need to be really careful with our list decisions because some polish, some refinements turn those six-ish games by less than 10 points into wins. I get the feeling there is a push internally to make changes regarding Oliver and Petracca... I don't know where I sit. We have lost far more close games than we've won... that can turn quickly. We haven't been the same since the 2023 finals series but tonight was as close as we've gotten to that team that year. We have too many guns to be where we are. I just feel like tonight was more a positive than a negative for us.- POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Let's look at this game in isolation. It showed how both Petracca and Oliver are built for high pressure, finals like matches. I am back and forth on whether we keep both. But boy do they love games like this. Salem, Bowey and May all had good games. May bounced back after a shocking start. I am super impressed by this performance tonight. We bloody took it to them. Pies had more to play for. Langford is a gun. I am bullish on what this squad can do. I hope it doesn't break up too much. We should be playing finals. We're not. Reboot. Get a new coach in. And then do to Collingwood in finals what we did to Geelong in 2021.- GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood

May, Oliver, Petracca... we are just not even trying. Just a nightmare.- GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
We could really mess with Collingwood's season. Payback for 2023 and 2017. But we just aren't that sort of club. It ain't happening. Pies will put on a clinic and win easily. - 2025 AFL Premiers Poll
