Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
This club has to lose its fear of having a go. Most millionaires have gone broke at some time in their lives. Big businesses get government's to bend for them, so they can prosper. Yet the Mfc quiver when it comes to big money & being entrepreneurial. If we can't find a Sugar-Daddy or some Benneyfactor... we wither away in the dark corner of the party. This has to change... or we stay just as we've been the past 50 Yrs. If we had a different nature as a club, it would be us in the old Olympic Swimming Centre... instead of Ol Fatface Ed & his lot. . We have only our own conservative small Inward Thinking for this weak culture of NoN-Progress... for the past half century, and being tied to the Mcc apron strings for so long, like an illegitimate child, is what caused this Club Impotence. We've been fortunate that the AFL came a running this time to our Aid and bailed us out with PJ and Roosy, & to a degree, Goody as well. Our Home Base is the most important thing, to build our own Independent Identity... away from & out of the shadow of the Mcc. Cut the Apron-Strings, and stand Tall, Proud & Independent.

Why,,, do you think Harmes and Brayshaw stepping up, should drive petracca on, Dirts?

Peak Petracca
That's funny praha... I don't care if he doesn't kick a goal. I want to see him busting contests open with his brute strength, and powering through tackles and away from the packs.... to open the games up for the team... he can supply the ball to our other players. Him kicking one goal, to me is a bonus. I want to see him become a Timmy Watson type R/R. He has the size, the explosiveness, and the speed off the mark, BUT he's lacking the WILL. just as Watts'y did... I don't want to see him waste it away, just as the former did. .

Look closer TPF39. You will notice his inconsistency, and when he goes spectating. He goes off mentally, a few times each game... and looks on, instead of thinking of getting involved again... this is a byproduct of being self-satisfied, at some level in his makeup. He has to become hungrier to do this. Too casual, just alike Jack Watts was. This is why Petracca should not be on out mast head at this point, until he grows more mature and becomes more a leader, within the team. He gets his accolades delivered to him in bed... to easy for him to feel satisfied with his lot. This is how we (Demons) ruin our stars, and our lesser players become our better players. simply we spoil our stars... and they become stilted in their developments.

2018 Player Reviews: # 36 Jeff Garlett
Spot on chook. Spargo for the most part exceeded my expectations of him as a 1st yr player. I hope he continues to ramp up his AFL formline in 2019... and he was a distributor of the ball in our forward half, directing the flow of the ball most often. I hope he can improve his composure further than he had, and gets to finish his goals with more polish.

Being conservatives is an Anchor and Chain around our necks. That finished off our Smithy, and it killed off "Checker's" fire & brimstone Demon's, and its snuffed out our spirit for 50+ years. ... all be it for fleeting cameo''s here or there, but they too were snuffed out. Stripping us, all the way back to plain old "Fuscia's" Now we have the chance to remember this... see what happened to us back then... realise, and resolve to Never be conservatives at Footy... Ever Again. ... because it does hold us back behind the competition. It's playing "Open Mise`re" as a Footy club.

Petracca = Poosy Cat. When he learns to give his everything to his game... and to get absolutely elite fit, then he MIGHT become his potential. not his draft pick... His potential, as an Elite sports-man. He is just-a-boy, between his Ears. I hope he is not still living at home, and leaning on Mum for everything... like my Italian mates did to they're mum's. .

There was a game in the first part of the season Jeffy was playing.. we were in attack and the ball was kicked toward goal, 2 opposition were mid goal square and Jeffy was tracking toward goal line from the outer direction. the opposition player marked the ball uncontested with Jeffy meters away, hoping for spillage. He did not attempt to 'go' and try to spoil, by making contact. We were in this game, with close scores as I recall it. I complained in a post immediately Jeffy did not contest the ball. WTF..... The very next match he, was out of the side. And that was it. I draw a comparison to Jeffy's 2018, and Watt's 2017 season.- 2018 Player Reviews: # 36 Jeff Garlett
We were crying out for a winger early this year... anyone who would break their arzz running 2 ways, and apply pressure when we don't have the pill. Some one with good skills, and some pace. The spot was there for the taking for Jeffy... and he did not grab it, in any way, shape or form. I can only assume his application was never seen. With the players we let go, and the players we recruited, I would say there was no takers interested in Jeffy. I feel certain he would have been offered about. Given the scratching we did Re picks and Swaps. I reckon if we don't offer him another contract end of 2019, his AFL footy will be dusted. .- Training - Monday, 26th November, 2018
possibly/probably... no biggy. Most would, at some point. If he needs it, it would possibly be Mid January. We have never been so well catered for, in our tall defenders, imo.- Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Sorry, I thought you were talking about AAMI stadium, the building. I didn't realise you wee talking about Gosch's. That's easy, we just get the show at Gosch's realigned, so we can abutt our new home building. "It's just a jump to the left" for that rectangular training pitch. I'll take my line-marker & tape down there after midnight tomorrow, and get things started. ?- 2019 best 22 and depth chart
Yeah, couldn't remember if 27 or 28, the point remains though,- 2019 best 22 and depth chart
Thanks for clearing that up, Todd.- 2019 best 22 and depth chart
This is why picking the 28Yr May is such a good get. A strong smart player who suits us to a "T"... now lets dot the "I's". As you say, Frost got better in defence 2nd half of last year, even deep, sweeping the ball clear. And Oscar was more composed up high in space, as far as the wing, I guess in our press. The concern is on they're fast break after turnover, when we are caught out of position. This is one reason why Garlett didn't play much last year IMO. I think our selections in the draft were ideal, as we have to start to develop players now, so they can swap in for the likes of Jones, Lewis, Hibbo in a few years, and Jetta, also in a few years time. Next season's trade draft period will be all about tall forwards and rucks, I reckon. .- 2019 best 22 and depth chart
I agree with you with that pairing,,, mainly because many don't feel secure when Frost is defending one on one deep, close to goal, and also same in reverse Re Oscar one on one, playing high... we don't hold confidence in them out of those positions. However May and Lever both playing in the same defence, is a different kettle. Lever can play deep or high doing the same role. (intercept) I think it's a toss up, Re match-ups, which of Frost or OMc play in the team, at this stage.- AFL lookalikes

I suspect his attitude is of an idolising adolescent. looking up to others,,, instead of being settled within hmself. If you watch him closely when onfield, he also spectates at the play quite often... signs of letting others do the work, while he admires/idolises his environment. He, is still, 'just a boy', inside himself.- AFL lookalikes
