  1. sort of, 12th man. carry the drinks... while he learns the caper at AFL level. To grow in confidence; and to compete and assist, whenever he can, is my guess. I think he will go out of the team when Viney is ready, to resume.
  2. We witnessed first hand yesterday, the importance of midfield marking in these days of the press. Ours worked much better yesterday with TMc floating thru the mid areas, taking marks and using his body leaving Saints on the floor. We worked very hard to stop them marking the ball in midfield transition, and they fell apart. Our desperation doing this was clearly evident and it worked a treat. So mobile talls prowling the mid section of ground marking the ball and throwing weight around, is a huge key to winning. Maxy played MUCH better yesterday up forward. But he is not a great mark as a tall. https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/fts_match_statistics?mid=9575&sby=3#t1 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - PS: check the hitouts from yesterdays game. We beat the saints 34 to 26.. showing that hitouts are overrated, unless they land direct in our mids hands. Our setups yesterday were much much better, and we worked tirelessly to win our clearances.
  3. You have answered your own question CBD... Why because its a fantasy beast 22, for 2020. And, because it makes us a better team onfield. Currently I prefer TMc ahead of Hogan as CHF. And I think the Weide is showing now, his skills & whee he is heading with his career. on the up and up. SO, a forwardline of Lynch, TMc, and Weideman, with smalls and mediums flowing thru, is i think a strong unit. All these talls share ruck duties and are followers in their own rights, leaving us covered, if one gets injured.
  4. I'm going to Pro-ject forward a little, in wishful fantasy. To 2020. I'll try and get this right, from my wishful fantasy, to my post. B Jetta, OMc, Jones HB Hibberd, Lever, Brayshaw C Gaff, Sloane, Melksham HF Petracca, TMc, Hunt FF Spargo, Weideman, Fritsch FOLL Lynch (GCS), Oliver, Viney INT Salem Hannan Tyson ANB Hogan Gawn Lewis Garlett
  5. Just assumptions, Richmond had been into Tyson for years before he left Giants. Yeah your right WERIDE. I used another post as the basis for mine, and I have severe sleep apnea. my excuses. Also my friend in Melbourne, their computer is excruciatingly slow, and with buffering. I'll adjust the post. aagh, I can't adjust it. no edit feature. I'll repost it.
  6. I'm going to Pro-ject forward a little, in wishful fantasy. To 2020_ B: LEVER, OMc, JETTA HB: HIBBERD, T.MCDONALD, BRAYSHAW C : GAFF, SLOANE, HUNT HF: SPARGO, TMc, HOGAN F: PETRACCA, WEIDEMAN, LYNCH FOLL: GAWN, OLIVER, VINEY IC: JONES, SALEM, FRITSCH, MELKSHAM .
  7. IF, the infection worsens again from playing this week, we might lose him for a chunk of games. We do not need him this week. TMc's back, so we're better balanced & OK for Mids. Take an extra week to let that bone infection settle right down. We want you later in the year fit & firing.
  8. I cant remember the espn footy tipping password for demonland?
  9. They're all on the same gravy boat. Just add a Beef, and roast 2 hours after games.
  10. There's only one we want from GCS. Lynch or MtrPeter.
  11. Agreed 'sons'. Hall's time has come and gone, if he was going to become consistent, he would have shown it by now. pass, for me.
  12. Plenty of the old "list-management" going on, in 2018.
  13. I think this looks like jeffy's 2018 step ladder. Note it's brand new showroom condition. unused as yet jeffy.
  14. The Tigers training ground complex is in Melbourne 3004. So are the Pies. Olympic Boulevard and Gosch's Paddock are in Melbourne, 3004. As is Richmond Station, well half of it. OUR Half is... in 3004.
  15. This is reflective of the culture at Melbourne at that time, since mid 90's. This is a part of the Hollywood theme and tail waging. All those kids we recruited were all spoiled (well most of) under the same theme.
  16. As I have, we all are, it's a time of change. According to prophets... each and every one of them.
  17. Women have changed, just like the game is. People and power, watta lousy mix... aggressive power is a thing of ugliness.
  18. he's still a boy,,, about to turn into a man. Gerard Healey turned into a man, when he went to Sydney. Physical maturity plays a part, and the realisation of power helps, then the mind takes over.
  19. We must be based next to the Richmond Railway Station. Our social hub has to be right at the station and overlook our training facility. Even if we have to build over Olympic Boulevard to do that. Easy access to public transport is a MUST. For dining patrons and for our supporters with disability. Not to mention functions before and after. Its time this Demon outfit was turned into a True Blue Aussie-Rules CLUB. for all people. An Social & Office setup above the section of tram tracks that turn past the Clay Tennis Courts of Tennis Australia would benefit public transport users as it will allow some undercover shelter for Hot Summer'y or Winter'y conditions, servicing the precinct. It would need be built Over the Tram tracks & the section of parkland at opposite 112 Olympic Boulevard Melbourne Vic, and across Olympic Boulevard right to the edge of Gosch's Paddock... Overseeing the training grounds. https://www.google.com/maps/place/112+Olympic+Blvd,+Melbourne+VIC+3004/@-37.8243201,144.9869602,418m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x6ad642943affc621:0x23259ce926eaf48e!8m2!3d-37.8245886!4d144.9868238!5m1!1e4 .
  20. He may not make it, because he is just into a 2nd season in AFL preseasons and development, as a mid 20Yrs player. But He should have been taken on as rookie, years earlier. Naturally very powerful. But he came around at a time when the mortons and bennells were getting about, and outside run run run was the call cry. I hope he gets a go and makes a big impression as I think he can be in the Archer/Rooke style. Pre making it, I bet those guys were labeled 'Vanilla', as well. But he is up against it. I agree. I see him in quite a different role to the traditional key tall forwards, and who's to say he cannot play back as well.
