  1. Ok then my bad just the two Greeny and Robbo
  2. Basically only played half a game. TOG% only 56%
  3. Rivers yesterday gathered 17 disposals,6 marks,3 spoils,2 tackles,2 kicks inside 50 and only had 1 critical error. As for Bruce he was one of our best gathering 29 disposals,8 marks,2 spoils,3 tackles,4 kicks inside 50,2 goals and also only had 1 critical error.
  4. Yeah, remember that. If he can use his booming 60 metre kick more often when he`s in range he can be one of our midfielders who kicks some goals, he does kick a few goals already though. I remember a thread back a long time ago complaining about Melbourne midfielders not kicking enough goals.
  5. Yeah, we do work hard its just we dont reward ourselves and take our chances.
  6. Yeah, but when we are rebounding out of defence we look much more composed and confident, but I think in the first 3 games we have shown signs that our skills and decision making have improved but at other times we have shown we are still the same team that won just 3 games in 2008.
  7. It`s great to have Beamer back in the side after another good effort yesterday with 18 touches,6 marks, 5 kicks Inside 50,1 goal and 2 centre clearances. Yesterday I picked up on Moloney`s kicking accuratcy around the 50 metre mark. We should continue playing Moloney in a rotating role on the half forward flank and on the ball, because he can find the goals with that raking right boot. He uses his strength around the stoppages,Puts on good defensive pressure at times, tackles and chases, but you just got to wonder if he can use all his strengths for 4 quarters. Same with all of our players. If we are going to be a competitive team we need all our players using all their strengths for a full 4 quarters, which is part of the reason why we can`t put in a full 4 quarter effort. Thoughts?
  8. Including 22 hitouts. More than his opponent Brogan who got 21.
  9. YES, I think it was in the 1st quarter. Brad Green had the ball 55 out directly in front of goal and Brad Miller was one on one in the pocket Brad Miller stayed at the back and his opponent was at the front and took the mark. Green was expecting Miller to be in front, but Miller went at the back of the contest which would of worked if Green knew But Green had already kicked it, but Miller probably wouldn`t of beaten his Man anyway 1 on 1, dont know why, he was bigger and stronger than Carlile, but Carlile was smarter. Miller really needs to work on his overhead mark. Hes good on the lead and on the chest but in a contested situation he doesnt take the over head mark. Havent seen him or don`t remember him taking a over head mark in a contest this year. He did it last year against Brisbane to win the game but I`m not sure if that was contested or not, but he still took an over head mark.
  10. Very Disappointing when just before Half time we had 3 men behind the ball to prevent the power from kicking another goal. 4 men around chad cornes, Chad Cornes marks uncontested and chips to ebert who sends it long, bit of spillage in the goal square then a snap goal to the power in the square puts us 37 puts down at half time. My low light for the day
  11. How far is Wonaeamirri away from playing?
  12. What is Bail`s game plan? dying to know, because I haven`t seen it.
  13. Was watching game day a couple of weeks ago, and the Oz mentioned that Melbourne has a more advanced list that most teams in the AFL. We are ahead of Fremantle because they have never been in a grand final. We have just the 3 grand final players remaining James Mcdonald,Brad Green and Russell Robertson.
  14. Who is doing well?Davey,Bruce,Morton,Jones,Green,Moloney,Rivers,Martin,Warnock,Petterd,Bennell,Bat e,Frawleys done alright,Cheney,Meeson did well yesterday with 22 hitouts to brogans 21 and Jetta has been ok. Who is letting us down? Mclean (even though he played ok yesterday with 21 touches),Sylvia,P.Johnson,Bartam(even though he didnt play that bad), Miller(he kicked 2 goals but didnt take any contested marks) and Dunn. The Dees are not bad at defending but aren`t that good at attacking, we are an defensive side. Although yesterday around the centre stoppages, I don`t know if any of you picked up on this, when we got 1st Poss we didnt just boot it into the forward 50 we looked for someone who was in a better position and handballed it and we looked alot better around the centre stoppages, alot more composed and clean. But still a long way to go from playing 4 quarters of footy.Once again in the 2nd and 3rd term turnovers cost us again, but very good effort in the last to kick 7 goals.
  15. In the Age it says hes a possible return for next week against Richmond
  16. Easy for the selection panel. In: Maric Out: Jetta
  17. Bruce - excellent all day Yze_Magic won`t be happy with that one Joeboy
  18. Out of those 3. Easy question. Brad Green. Miller and Sylvia play forward more than Green and Green still kicks more goals than them both combined. We can kick a winning score. It`s just got to be our day. Remember Round 7 2008 Melbourne 17.17 (119) Fremantle 15.23 (113) Goals:Wonaeamirri,Robertson 4,Davey,Miller 3,Green 2,Moloney. and against Essendon Round 18 2008 (we didnt win but that can be a winning score sometimes) Essendon 19.10 (124) Melbourne 17.6 (108) Goals: Morton,Sylvia 3,Maric,Bate 2,Bartam,Green,Buckley,Davey,P.Johnson,Jamar,Wonaeamirri.
  19. lol I know, Numbers would be against us around the centre stoppages because the half forwards aren`t pushing up and we would get killed in the centre clearances.
  20. So does Brad Miller. Brad Green is on track to win our leading goal kicker by a long way. My 50th post this is, since joining Demonland just 3 days ago.
  21. But that`s what you think. I`m not a Clint Bartram man.
  22. Alot better than most of our other players stats, and alot better than you think.
  23. Melbourne FC skill level is improving and today against Port was an example of how its improving.
