Demon Army are usually at the Richmond end.

Maybe just maybe there will be announcement before the next Vic election and Andrews hoping that he will win over all the South Eastern suburbs liberal voters😜

I think I've got a little bit over excited. The Games aren't until 2026 but still what's another 4 years.
-
Do we know if all the events are in country Victoria? Could we have been waiting for this announcement hence the silence from the Club regarding any future home base. Are the ducks lining up at long last. If so Kate Roffey needs a sainthood.🦆

TRAINING: Friday 4th February 2022

Talking of round 1, afl/state govt hoping for full house. Imagine 70-80,000 at the mcg. Can’t wait. -
Sally is definitely a Demon’s supporter (long term not a ring in)

My whole family were there. Tried two testing centres today and both times got to almost the end of the queue and was told they were closing (two hours early). Will try again at 7am tomorrow morning. Why are the testing centres not staying open till later knowing that there would be an influx of families wanting to travel interstate.

Our Chairwoman will be on right on top of this. She will know what is required to induce funds from the appropriate govt bodies.🤞

I believe that the sponsors will be there so I'm presuming giveaways (I'm hoping for a Jag). There will be entertainment at half time and other activities not sure if outside the ground. -
A thing of beauty.

Presume you mean MCC Sports museum. Tours begin again November 20. Suggest you go on to the MCC site for all COVID requirements. It is good value with some great historical images and momentos of the MCC sporting past.

Can you please elaborate what our values are. I have met both Jackson and Pert numerous times and they are so different. Jackson was the perfect CEO for us at that time. The success we have now had was instigated by the changes that Jackson made and now Pert has supported those changes by bringing in a different ethos. He didn't play a part on the ground but what he has provided for the team was a secure and stable Club so that they could thrive. Pert pushed for 70,000 this year which I think with Covid it was always going to be difficult to achieve. The drop off in numbers of combined MCC/MFC members was unfortunate but one that probably should have been expected. We now have such an upside in increasing our membership base for 2022. The current Administration team work very hard and now with a topped up bank account they will be able to increase staffing levels. Pert has the contacts to improve our team Sponsorship and with Kate Roffey who is the ideal person to kick start the new facilities, our future looks very bright. If and when Pert ever decided to retire/move on I would hope that the Club would approach Jennifer Watts who would slot into the position with ease.

GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs

Watching that bought all the horrible memories of that day. I know Sheehan said that someone should have flown the flag but my memory was that Schwarta came flying in to "fly the flag" and was subsequently suspended. Sorry to hijack the topic. No more from me. -

Watch the arms go up as soon as they drop the ball. Holding the man. Watch for the continuous calls for deliberate out of bounds. I hate to say it but we need unfortunately to be a little more proactive when it comes to these ugly "tricks". -

What got me was Wallis I'm sure retired after that GF so he couldn't care less how many games he was suspended for. Sheedy would have known and thuggery was a tactic. I hope its not used on Maxy on Saturday.
