Any word on Lindsay?

Maybe, Bowey missed 8 weeks with a shoulder but could still run I guess. Hard to know exactly what Windsor could or could not do training wise. It doesn't seem from my limited perspective that he has lost any pace or evasiveness more the skill that is possibly more under pressure playing in the backline. And where every mistake is amplified. 2 weeks running we have been screwed

To me he tries to hang back and launch at the ball but is prone to being blocked or bumped. Many times he tries to outbody backmen but with little success. Rarely do you see him run straight at the ball carrier OR do 2 or 3 dummy leads doubling back to wrong foot defenders. A lack of a credentialled forwards coach screams at me.

It was Raynor - the faux tough guy. Dangerous action, Viney out for 2 weeks with concussion for essentially the same action. We seem to be on the receiving end of a lot of dog acts that go unpunished by HQ

I went to Freo once and can confirm fashion died there.

We saw what Brisbane are capable of with their fast ball movement through the middle. It could have easily blown out. A lot of their goals looked so easy and they kicked pretty well. So credit must go to Goodwin and the coaching staff. They clearly stuck with their plan to stifle Brisbane's free flowing run. It didn't always work but we forced turnover a lot. We largely had plenty of players dropping back to assist in defence as well. Kudos

I am not convinced Windsor's disposal is that good anyway. I guess they are trying to launch off HB but its not working at the moment. Whether his foot is an issue, or lack of pre-season or basic kicking skills it's hard to say. He's a good young talent so I hope he starts to come good soon

Just watched the game again and (Windsor) he was pretty poor. His kicking was atrocious Bowey was outstanding. Repeatedly left his man to attack the footy and played with smarts. Our general kicking at goal was very ordinary Raynor should get weeks for his high hit on Lindsay in the last qtr. Same action saw Viney miss 2 weeks with concussion.

He had a mare. Thought he might be subbed off at one point

Fritsch has been hopeless in first halves for some time so maybe he's the perfect sub. Looked ok when he came on. Played with purpose
