Luckily it did go ahead, apparently there could be millions of dollars of damage and it could take a few months to clean up

Great game. It didn't matter that it was a practice match and that I was listening on the radio, I still got really passionate at the end. Petterd shaping up to be a star, thats 4 goals for the second week in a row. Scully and Trengove will be future stars, not only are they amazing players, but they combine so well. They had something like 50 possessions between them. Newton had a shocke, and for anyone who's intersted, MacDonald, Wonaeamirri and Fitzpatrick were the 3 who were in the squad that didn't play. Really impressive signs for the Dees today at Elizabeth, even with Sylvia,Moloney, Davey, Bruce, Johnson, Garland and MacDonald all out we did a great job to almost win the match (we should've). Junior McDonald is in great form, he continued to impress today, McNamara, McKenzie, Strauss and Frawley were all good in the backline for the Dees, while Maric played a great game with 2 classy goals. Miller is re-booting some form as well, I was expecting the Dees to get handsomely beaten, but with a few hours to think about it, we actually played well

I'm really hoping for a big game from Jurrah, Trengove and Scully with the absence of key older players. Really hoping for a win today

I don't think we've got a hope with that squad. But hopefully our young guns will step up without SlyviaMoloney and Davey

It's good that wonna is only a week away, hopefully well see him in the pre season. Hopefully those first 6 are avaliable for round 1 selection, sad about Johnson though

Henderson improved late in the game, but yeah they're gonna have trouble finding consistency in their forward line if players like Fisher, Kreuzer and others can't get the ball when it goes up there. Young Yarran was good for the blues though

Amazing game from Lewis, he is just so Damn fast and such a quick thinker, he can do anything. He kicked 2 goals, but I reckon he could've kicked at least 5. That snap from the pocket deserved to go through.

I thought Jack showed a bit in his ruckwork and leading last saturday, he shanked that kick at goal, but still showed some good signs. He's being given a go since Johnson and Jamar are both sitting out. He's a great bloke as well

Colin's a high draft pick. From a third of the way through the season he exploded with confidence, and started to show his supreme worth. He played well in the intra club game, there's no knowing that he'll stop this form he brought through season 2009

What's happened to Luke?

DB pretty much talks about Trengove and Scully playing, and saying there's no pressure on them and they're not certain for Round 1 selection. He also talks about how Watts has had a tough time so far and how they'll be developing him over time and hoping he can play some games this season. Morton just talks about pretty much the same thing and how he'll handle the 2010 season
