Not a huge fan of Watts in the ruck, other than maybe in the forward line, Watts>Weid easily as a target, Weid doesn't seem to the ruck/forward type and I'd hesitate to play him alongside Watts and Hogan for that reason, for the time being he is basically the back up Hogan

Looked at the Dogs' team, seems like they only have about 8 listed players, no Stringer. Fair to say it looks like an easy win by selections

Absolutely worthless behind the ball, has to either be an onballer (if there's room) or try half forward. Need him kicking 15-20 goals, he kicked only 6 which was very disappointing, 3 of them V Richmond

Geelong playing home finals was only put back on the agenda for that Freo game..which they lost. Would've been interesting to see what they did if they played GWS, but realistically it's not gonna happen v another vic team. I mean they already have an advantage other vic clubs don't during the H&A season

Those are damning. I just could not fathom the final 2 games omission, yeah he wasn't incredible but it screwed up our structure. Instead we back a skinny kid who doesn't contribute in the ruck, and gave Watts that role whose form dropped too.

Right place, right time. Lack of opportunity in his last year with us, can't really give him flak

In my mind, there's no guarantees of improvement next season. We've got a few players to be excited about, but do we have an entire side tuned in? We've reached a pretty good point, but I think we could go either way from here

Just so, so mentally slow. Miskicks virtually by everyone. Battled hard for a while in that second but still didn't look like scoring. At least Salem got involved a bit there

Seems to have broken down this year, did kick 66 in 2014, but he has a desire to play on for a couple more years. It'd be comparable to the Roos getting Waite, we do need that leading forward and someone who can slot a couple of set shots by trade. Only would consider because I don't know if Weid will be able to play that role and our forward line needs a shake up

Good news for him, but he's batting from so far back it's hard to know if the future is anywhere other than Casey. I'd suggest he be groomed into a forward just to maximise his value to the team

Oliver is the kind of player I go to the footy to watch. Hey maybe I'll go see Casey this week.

Exactly, we could've saved the lame selections for this week had we still lost.I really wish I cared more about this game, it should be big given it's a chance to back up our Geelong effort last season
