I would not even give one first round pick for Houston considering he is 28 next year and you may only get 3 good years of football out of him. We are on the slide at the moment let's get some quality kids in from the draft.

i've watched all of Kentfield's games. Has shown very little to date and today he hardly touched the ball. A very strange selection by recruiters. He seems slow, lacks mobility and does not impose himself. The only thing in his favour is that he is only 18.

Knowing this club if we get pick 6 we'll give it to Port for a 28 yr old Dan Houston instead of going to the draft. What a waste that would be trading a high pick for a guy that might only have 3-4 years left .

What kids. the cupboard is bare. Casey was smacked again today. No shining lights coming through. We are well and truly on the slide.

TMac is playing in the VFL this weekend. It may well give us another option in coming weeks.

Reminds me of Alan Johnson who played in the 80's. He started on a wing and then went to the back-line. He was also the clubs oldest best and fairest winner at age 32

When reassessing the 2021 draft last night on Sportsday (SEN) Luke Hodge said he would take JVR after Horne-Francis and Nick Daicos. That’s before Josh Rachele, Sam Darcy, Finn Callaghan, Jye Amiss, Josh Gibcus, Mac Andrew and the rest before JVR was selected at pick 19.

Cal Twomey and Riley Beverage on the podcast 'Gettable AFL' predict that clubs will offer-up 3 first rounders for Harley Reid. -
Whilst that link shows training times for 18 Jan. the MFC website no longer has a link to future training sessions. The website seems to have changed this week with the drop-down info on training times no longer shown. I hope I'm wrong but the website has clearly changed this week.

Just reported on the 3AW news that Mac Andrew was caught drink driving on the Gold Coast.

Does Jake or Michael have any children? -
They want to finish bottom next year to pickup Harley Reid. A bottom ager who could well have been No1 this year.

Interesting that we offered Bedford a 4 year deal. Giants must be paying overs.

Trade radio this morning said that James Harmes was seen at the Hangar last week.

Mark Stevens on RSN Breakfast said Adam was at the Kennel yesterday having a medical. Stevens is a dogs supporter.

Goodwin being interviewed now on RSN 927 breakfast show says Bedford, Chandler, Laurie, JVR are all part of our future going forward. Believes Kossie is very happy at MFC and can see him playing with us long term. Doesn't know where the rumours about him leaving come from. Can get podcast on RSN later today

David Hobson (opera singer/composer) is a tragic demon supporter. Heard him being interviewed where he said that even during performances he will get the score at interval breaks or anytime he is not on stage. Loves the dees.

I"ve watched Toby during his time in the under 18's onwards. He is electic in his movements; looks incredible at times when he has the ball but unfortunately doesen't get involved often enough. His average disposal numbers are low and his impact on the game is negligible even at under 18 level. A will of the wisp maybe, be but more a fly by night footballer at best. Should he put the work in, get fitter and believe in himself to do better he could be a very good player.

Max on RSN 927 this morning said both Viney and Jackson have put there hand up to play this week.

Workman doing renovation at my house use Haymes Paint. They said it's the best quality. I personally have used their Woodcare "Dexpress" Merbau on the outside deck. Comes up a treat and lasts much longer with more "lustre"than Cabots or British paints that I have used before.
