he was also talking to KB on SEN this morning. One of the reasons he gave for the merger was that Melbourne bought the MCG with them, while North had the heritage (or tradition, I can't quite remember) of on field success <_<

with regard to player values, it adds on to the salary cap. You can then use the money to upgrade to other players. For example you initially buy Kyle Cheney for $94,200; he is now worth $161,000. You can trade on Cheney's current price, so you in effect have an extra $66,800 when you sell him. does this make sense? (it sounded good as I typed it)

I now have Grimes (but need him to play), Spencer as a ruck emergency, and Davey in the forward line (hoping he will also pick up possessions running through the midfield), although his injury has me worried

I was leaning toward Garland, which would give enough dough to get Grimes for the bench/investment. Both of you guys saying Grimes straight up has got me thinking now - it frees up a bit of cash to cover some other areas. Thanks boys

Watts would be my choice - looked strong in Wednesdays game. Natinui, while athletically good, looked like he lacks footy smarts - noy sure you can learn them
