  1. Go after a KPD this year, then try and bring in Peter Wright next year. He'd help relieve Max in the ruck, and is more than a handful up forward.
  2. Agree LT, looking at this draft, there aren't too many that pop out as being 'great' players. Go after May or Lever and get a short-medium fix for our backline.
  3. Hogan has a presence up forward, something that most of our forwards (cough, weideman, cough) lack. Needs to return only when he is ready, but sooner the better.
  4. He also needs to work on motivating the team. If they continue not to listen, make changes.
  5. We stuffed around with the ball in the first quarter, then went more direct in the second, only to revert back to the same bull[censored] in the third. Dumb football and dumb coaching all round. Starting McDonald forward was a big mistake, just because it worked last week doesn't mean it always will. Pedo i thought did a fantastic job, so a bit harsh on him Joeboy. A pity he only had a couple more that gave their all for the entire match. Kent was pathetic, he doesn't get enough of it to be a mid, yet cannot apply defensive pressure in the forward half. He is a man of no position. Bring in Harmes for him next week. Weideman is nowhere near the quality of an AFL player yet (still needs to develop a tonne, and find a spine), stick him at Casey for the rest of the year, as he lacks both the required skill and appetite AFL requires. OMAC has no good games, he either has bad one's or ok one's. He gave away 4 free kicks today (all of which were there) and 6 clangers, so he is either clueless or just a stupid footballer. You don't build backlines around these types of player's. With the likes of TMAC, OMAC and Frost as our KPD's, we probably have one of the worst defences in the league. Lever can't get here quick enough. Jeffy through in one of his classic 'bad' performances today. He has more better days than bad days, but his bad days really are bad. Watts, Salem, Petracca, Wagner (he's never going to be an AFL quality player - so why bother), Vince and Hunt were all below par. Hard to win when more than half your team put in less than average performances. Dees caught drinking their own bathwater again.
  6. A 195cm wooden post would have more of a physical presence and impact than Weideman. Keep him at Casey for the rest of the year, he is clearly not ready, and gifting him games when he doesn't deserve them won't help his development. Same goes for OMAC.
  7. He's had it in for us ever since he sooked it up when Gawn hit one of his pathetic recalled shi!thouse bounces away from him.
  8. Pathetic umpiring or not (the maggots should be sent back to the 2's), you cannot win games of footy giving up big qtr time leads.
  9. 1.2 to 4.4. Explains it all really. Do it without the umpires FFS. Want it Dees. Irregardless of their ineptness, an AFL footballer kicks them from 20 out. 50 or not.
  10. Today is a blue collar day. The engine room is the one that will win it for us, not the cream
  11. Either that or send him forward, we need some good forward pressure.
  12. He is a passenger who hops on when things are going well. He isn't one you'd turn to to turn things around.
  13. Agree Gorg. Don't get sucked in. Hit em hard, but fairly (or when the ump can't see in Buggy's case!) Hurt them on the scoreboard, that will show em up.
  14. A typical Scott brother's team. It''s fine when they are doing it, yet when it's done to them it's criminal. Bunch of sooking pr!cks
  15. Loved Bugg's couple of punches in the guts that the ump couldn't see! About time we gave the pr!cks some of their own medicine.
  16. Agree, he is having a huge influence up forward. We clearly are not liking North's heavy handed tactics. Why don't we hand out some of our own?
  17. If Watts, Petracca and Garlett decide they want to play, we may just be a chance
  18. why have we been so prone to giving teams a start this year? We are so slow out of the blocks. Why? Who is our motivator?
  19. Both are still very soft. Weideman needs to eat some cement to harden him up, Oscar needs some hunger.......and a new brain.
  20. Not the way we're playing at the moment. A shadow of the team that played last week (same players'). Typical rollercoaster effort from MFC.
  21. We should go after Lever this year, then target his best mate 2m Peter, next year.
