Even if we did get Rory, i fear Bernie might not be around to play with him next year.- Round 13 Non - MFC Games
Lose and we could be equal on points with Cats (bye), Port, Hawks and North. Win and we stay ahead of them.- Top Red Headed Demons
Peter 'Whopper' Walsh- Round 13 Non - MFC Games
Might have to tune in to FC on Monday night to see what pathetic excuse Judd trots out this week.- New CEO - Gary Pert
Given that it was The Australian that broke the story and everyone else was left playing catch-up, it's not a stretch to think that some media pundits will have to make some bs outlandish claims to come out of it looking ok (as opposed to sitting on their arses without a [censored] clue).- New CEO - Gary Pert
If it's got AFL backing, if [censored] hits the fan, at least we know they'd help us out. No we aren't a 'big club' nor will we ever be, but with a membership nearing 44,000 and heaps of development left in us, becoming a bigger club financially has to be a non-negotiable. Pert has shown in previous roles he is up to the challenge and isn't daunted by taking on a 'big task'. Has my approval until he [censored] up. Which hopefully won't occur.- New CEO - Gary Pert
So long as all 3 stay on, then we'll continue to have a strong off-field team in place.- New CEO - Gary Pert
........................or desks.................................or loans from the club.- New CEO - Gary Pert
We won't know if this will be a successful appointment for a few years yet, however, i much prefer a CEO with AFL experience as opposed to the likes of Paul McNamee/Tracy Gaudry coming from other sporting fields. Approved by the AFL (which is still unfortunately a necessary tick), approved by the board and the stand-out candidate in a field of 5, of which PJ would have had the biggest say. Comfortable with this decision, and what's more, it keeps Mahoney firing in his current role as Footy GM (another big tick).- Watts Dropped from Port
I think we have more important things to worry about at MFC headquarters, than the current circumstances surrounding Watts.- MFC Cactus for the rest of 2018
For the time being deefella, we are 8-4. If we are to miss the finals this year, there will be plenty of time for us all to air our MFCSS grievances. But until such point in time, try to stay optimistic.- MFC Cactus for the rest of 2018

- Peter Jackson's Replacement?
Who replaces JM as head of footy then?- Round 12 Non-MFC
I don't at all. Had the Dees job on a platter, refused, then decided to adopt the basket-case that is GC. Thank god we didn't appoint that type of ineptitude.- Peter Jackson's Replacement?
Yeah, the last time we installed a CEO from a different sport was Paul McNamee. Let's stick to those who know football. - Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
