  1. good to see we've carried over last weeks 4th quarter into the 1st this week.
  2. Was about to say that 640. Though the longer it plays like that, the more i'd fancy the Crows kicking more goals.
  3. He's pretty tricky, he isn't ultra fast in the reflexes but by no means slow (as a junior he was always a kick first, handball second type player - which i liked). As for reading the play, he seems to have gotten a tad slower if going by the footage i've seen of him the past couple of years (maybe because he dominated when he was younger and not everything is going through him now, so he has to be more reactive to what's going on around him).
  4. Played mostly as a tall forward due to being 'tall' for his age at Fishy, but hasn't grown much over the past couple of years since being in the Gippsland Power footy program. I'd say he is more agile as a player and probably more versatile whereas Petracca dominated as a general forward. Not as explosive as Petracca as a junior either. Trac imo, was also a clear #1 in his year whereas Flanders has been mentioned as a top 5 pick in his lead up years, but never #1
  5. Sam Flanders = Fish Creek represent!!! A shame Matt McGannon didn't come back to play for Fishy this year, instead heading on up to Redland in the NEAFL (we could do with his run off the HBF that's for sure - err that's FCFNC not MFC). Rowell is probably the consensus #1 pick atm (god i hope we don't have it come the end of round 22). Agree that Anderson sounds very intriguing and at 86kgs he's just about ready to go.
  6. Totally agree Poita and Mono. No point having a great kick if you can't get it enough for the team to capitalise on it. Secondly no point having pace if you don't get it either, as you're just running around like a headless chook (Gary Rohan before this year is a good example of it).
  7. Don't worry, we'll train it out of him coach!
  8. I reckon the supporters who turned up yesterday deserve a few votes. Bloody freezing, and then to be put through that cr@p. Mighty effort by all 20,000 (you weren't rewarded )
  9. virtually one down when he is named in the team. If Garlett's in too then it's 2 down.
  10. season is already lost, no need to rush him back. A week off can only be a good thing for his knee imo.
  11. You mean Brad? Even if he says no, at least he could show Goody how to walk away with years left on a contract
  12. Too busy back slapping each other. ”boy we look good when we’re versing no one!”
  13. If he can shake it, should be aiming it at Goodwin.
  14. This is what happens when you have incompetence behind the wheel. Roos and PJ needed to stay for another 2/3 years more than they did. Can’t change culture in a few years when it’s been poor for half a century (apologies to the late 80’s sides who put in).
  15. Goodwin set the nonnegotiables for this year by refusing to review the PF loss.
  16. Chances of going goalless in the second half? even with injuries, nothing can excuse performances like this, and yet Goodwin and co continually do so. Head rots from the top and it is quickly infecting our playing group.
  17. I actually want to see someone give Goodwin one. As coach, he is responsible for the player’s attitude and performance.
  18. We are the worst team in the league at the moment, and by a fair margin.
  19. Yep went a tad early on the extension. We need Roos and PJ back.
  20. We must really want to maximise our mid season draft choice. FMD
  21. 18 hit outs to 4 yet equal on clearances? Great chemistry between our rucks and mids
  22. Chances of us going goalless this quarter?
  23. Serious question, would you entertain trading Petracca at years end. Just seems content to just [censored] about and be lazy
