We’re wasting a premiership quality list again this year. Unfortunately it looks like the end is coming quickly for some of our senior players, Gawn included :( This year is turning into the most disappointing I can remember, and that’s because we should be right amongst it but instead lose on repeat to any decent teams. Our record against top 8 teams speaks for itself. Our gameplan this year doesn’t cut it. What a [censored] waste

Well and top and should be fine th we in front. Defensive pressure and transition into our zone has been very good. Just need to finish our work and get more reward on the scoreboard for our control.

Late last season when Selwood kicked his hand and broke bones. Not even a free kick paid for kicking in danger! He returned wearing a brace after a week and was limited through the end of the season.

We were keen on him at draft obviously and have stayed in touch. Let’s wait and see what happens over the next few years at the Suns… He’s had a few good games this year. It’s good to see him stepping up as a focal point. He’s been better than our tall forward this year for the most part!

Apparently he had tightness and they’re doing it as a precaution. Played out the last quarter ok, so hopefully it’s nothing.

If we lose this match at the MCG to Freo like last year then this year can bugger off.

He’s putting together a very good season and would be pushing for a top five finish in our best and fairest so far. He randomly costs us a bad goal every week, but outside that he’s become seriously well rounded and versatile too.

Pressure needs to go on our midfield. With Clarry, Trac and Viney getting service from Gawn and Grundy, we should never get belted around the stoppages. To lose clearances 10-0 in the second quarter should be career ending stuff. Heat needs to come on Yze as the midfield coach. We’ve been beaten up around the stoppages consistently this year and it’s become a problem for us being that our game is built off contest and our stats are around the ball.

After an incredible third quarter, this final quarter has been gutless again. Regardless of the outcome here, we have a lot of work to do before September if we want to compete for the flag.

I’ve been praying we get Butters for years. We were keen on him at draft too but couldn’t move up the draft enough to get him unfortunately. He’s a star. Still so young too and already an All Australian.

He’s forgotten he’s a small crumbing forward. He either flies for a mark he’ll never take or runs wide and no one near the fall of the ball. Absolutely infuriating this past few weeks!
