Goody Saves a Life in Bali
If it was fly it would be front page of everything. No one wants to roll out a positive story about Goody or the Dees atm. Doom and gloom or nothing. Well done on doing a great deed to Goody. I’m sure he wasn’t thinking of the media response whilst he was doing his best to help this poor guy.

Every Team's 2024 Pass Mark
I think I’ll wait until Round 6 of the fix-ture. That should give us a sense of where we and everyone else is at. Set expectations from there. i want us to win the flag. Minimum is top 4 plus at least 1 final win.

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
We may lose a player to ‘home’, but there would be compo or trade value in the move. We should be able to cover any I player, and the capital return could even be positive for us.

Harrison Petty
Has there been any indication that Harry was interested? Of course it is flattering to be wooed, but was there any real sign he wanted go? Or if he is smart it becomes part of his bargaining toolkit for his extension

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 11
If we end up with Reid, Fullarton, McAdam, Dogga jnr and Risk Andrew (maybe these two as rookies and upgrading Turner), then they can get there any way they like!

Farewell James Jordon
It looks like he is joining an even longer queue for a midfield starting role at Sydney than if he stayed at Melbourne.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Grundy was not Jackson. We pinned our hopes on making it so. Jackson checked out of his last dozen games so we have been off our preferred structure for 18 months. We need another ‘jackson’, or need to find another structure that’s works for us. If grundy stays, we need to understand who he is and what he can do, rather than what we want him to do. It would also mean Gawn needs to understand his capabilties and role as well.

Trade Rumours 2023
I hope we are up to something on a number of fronts: coaching replacements and switches - forward and midfield coaches, new ball movement plans. Some better ball users and elite talent (both new via draft and trading in). Ruck replacement for Grundy, if he goes as planned. KP players for FB, CHB, CHF. No rumours here, but if what the jungle drums are signalling (by no signal), I hope we are going to make a big splash this trade/draft period.

Exit interviews 2023
If you were doing the exit interviews, what would be a key message that you would want delivered to a particular player? Where would you want them to focus in the off season to improve? Verall: More Fitness and marking, getting to contests to be improved Jefferson: More muscle mass and hit more contests. Howes: More fitness and strength to challenge for a wing spot in 24 (etc) Then there are ones like “enjoy your retirement” to BBB, TMAc, Hibbo, Melk, etc, and ‘enjoy the Harbour views, Grundy” What messages would you give?

Picket v Spargo - The Learnings
Ok, i thought they both left for more opportunities. Missed the bit where Hunt wanted to stay. Suggest he would have had very little game time anyway…

Picket v Spargo - The Learnings
Reminder: Bedford wanted to leave, Hunt wanted to head to WC to get more opportunities. We all feel bad about the season, but lets not write history wrongly to suit a narrative point.
