  5. Given the Sports Science credentials of Mission Id be surpised now as to what role if any Craig could fulfil ?
  6. Ive , rightly or wrongly , sort of got the impression that Neeld is something akin to a player-whisperer. Im hoping that theres a couple of guys currently not playing to their potential that get the 'magic' and lift. Some are a tad dissappointing arent they.
  7. Well its all very interesting and engrossing. As much as it is those going its those that will be taking over the roles that intrigues me. I can only imagine Neeld has very firm ideas about how our defence and midfield ought to operate having successfullyy built elite squads to do thses jobs. Hed also have a fair idea about what a potent forward line ought to look and work like. I havent seen much about Melnourne of recent years to suggest anyone had a firm grip on any of this to date.

  13. I cant for a minute speak for him but judging by some of his recent commentary since departing I think hes got a genuine soft spot for us. ANd why not . We can all look back and wonder why some things werent done sooner and such but I think in his own way he'll wish us luck, as I do him.

( now I would haveput a smiley face there..or evern a rolleyes..but alas...cough !! ) lol Top stuff guys... youdo marvels to run such anccomploished site...the envy of the 'unofficial" league id think .
  22. yeah but at his point of the journey if both parties agree, then his management can have it al done, they can announce, he can ratify once he gets here. Its not that hard, unless there are sticking points. Im backing the club which ever Hes done ok in the past.
  23. I think the reality is a bit as Willian suggest and players are for the most part taken on an idividual basis, with some guidance by the 'preferred' line . In Juniors case I think the club thought ( quite rightly ) he was in teh very "iffy' dept re his fitness and just didnt warrant pushing let alone a 2y deal. Im purely speculating but I reckon they , the club and Cam , were rucking heads to some point as well and was a good leverage to deny him 2 years. A good decision all around ( for us that is ) With Brad.. a 1x1 or 1+1 cal lit what you like but the idea of two years with provsion of an out after one should it not be workign ot for all concerned. Brad if hes honest with himself ought to acknowledge hes been on a bloody good wicket for some time and should just take ,within reason , whats on offer adn possibly revisit all this come this time next year. If he, and the club , are up for it then all well and good. I would put him on the 'required' list.....atm
  24. Well we could certainly use his magic. Major injuries and breaks etc will always unfortunately happen but you do wonder about all the soft tissue stuff..and teh 'epidemics' of Hammies that seemto break out
  25. Im not sure really what youre alluding to rffc.. Hes at Melb.. its just a new contract., arguably possibly his last . It ought to be run of the mill stuff. There wil be no ticket tape parade when he resigns. Just an acknowledgement and some garbage about how everyones looking forward yada yada and such. Or are you seriously suggesting hed want to make a song and dance of it ? asking..thats all
