this their speed of ball movement and risk / reward style of football is the sort that really troubles us

puddy-tatts v peptides = friyay nite
-
i will happily admit - i thought based on where we took him in the draft, his pedigree, his height, broad shoulders, his seeming professionalism, his noted ability to build his body to 'senior' level over the last five years, and then his form in the vfl and in the afl at the end of 2018 that he WAS going to be an out and out gun he's instead unfortunately possibly not just a 'good, ordinary' afl key forward but instead a player who is too good for vfl, not good enough for afl he looks bereft of confidence currently and his trade value will have diminished significantly since returning to the afl side and routinely failing to impress

we have three players on our injury list three! halfway thru the year!!! what even is this world in which we're in... half our team is clearly gonna come down with covid on the eve of the finals, right?

favourite win: vs tigers on anzac eve, even tho i think the wins over footscray and the bears were bigger in the context of the season one in game highlight: kosi ducks, kosi weaves, kosi goals (rd 2 vs aints) other random highlights: viney goal after about 20 seconds in rd 2 vs aints, having full confidence that lever will mark everything that comes near him, ben brown's first lillee-esque run up and goal...oh, and also winning the first 9 games of the season! -
as a free agent? yes as a trade? no
-
If Ben Brown doesnt play the rest of the year

it REALLY annoys me that the caption is 'mid season review' and the title is 'mid-season update' for the goodwin one great content tho -
c'mon tasmanian kangaroos...

gold coast has long been a graveyard for professional sports clubs

has robbie gray done his knee in his 250th?
-
along with gw$, they're there so the afl can make an extra $30m per year on the broadcast rights... ...of course, it costs $50m to support them...
-
It’s crazy isn’t it, almost like she understands modern footfall… Cats down two midfield rotations if Parfitt has joined Duncan on the sidelines
-
yeah, but it used to be $1m for two i think - one in the alice, one in darwin
-
that's cos the hawks of the mid-2010s continued to 'sell' four games a year to tasmania throughout the entire decade and made a motza out of it thanks to a deal that, from memory ian dicker, did in 2001 that kennett took credit for achieving for the last 20 years, to the tune of about $50m for four games per year in launceston by comparison we get around $1m for two games a year in the nt

mac andrew out of cal twomey's underage team of the year; sounds like there's a couple of genuine key forwards in the west who are emerging as likely prospects https://www.afl.com.au/news/632305/twomey-s-draft-team-of-the-year-wa-goalkickers-on-target-saint-s-brother-in Mac Andrew, an unlucky omission given his form at the start of the season but who this week will return for his first NAB League game in a month after Victoria's latest COVID-19 outbreak. good luck to him as his season resumes (but not too much luck as we clearly would like to claim him with a pick after 20) -
great result for the peptides
-
really poor
-
all good if you look at his numbers you can see the massive drop-off from pre- to post-injury - it's almost like (surprise, surprise) he can't run at the moment it's a significant duty of care issue for mine
-
he started the season so well and since coming down with plantar fasciitis he's looked cruelled by the injury it's almost a black mark on the aints that they're continuing to play him when he's clearly so hampered
-
i don't know how you factor in those %s of wins for me there's 1 of possible three results for every match-up; win, lose, or draw footy is a funny ol' game...
