  1. the amount of hanrahan's on this thread... good grief
  2. you mean '...might win a final'
  3. i always forget how much i loathe going to docklands; it's a glorified car park - and it is absolutely FREEZING in there not surprised there was less than 15k there; was right on my expectations for the crowd and the result - we wasted opportunities but we were, for the most part, very professional in the way we went about it lousy time slot, shocking opposition, horrible stadium
  4. 6: oliver 5: lever 4: petracca 3: spargo 2: fritsch 1: pickett
  5. how odd! quick google: maybe he was 193cm in long stops??
  6. would be amazed if there's more than 15k at the game professional 42 point win looms; 6.5.41 to 10.23.83 no injuries pls
  7. was always listed as 193cm on the back of my footy cards in the 90s
  8. swans' decision making when going i50 letting them down now - lotsa bomb and hope to buddy
  9. blues' frontal pressure almost as good as ours
  10. swans providing zero pressure through the midfield bluebaggers getting a very good run of it
  11. bloods? puddy tatts? footscray us aints tiggas gw$ bears jokers less games that i'm not confident about this round than the last couple - the competition definitely feels like it's stretching out between the top few, a chunk of there or thereabouts teams, and then those making up the numbers to a greater or lesser degree hoping for a cracker of a game today. the pear and gc17 to cause upsets i'd really like to get some separation from us and the chasing few - particularly bears and freo - but it's easier said than done
  12. he'd be in the top five players of my era (mid 80s onwards) off the top of my head: gary ablett sr wayne carey michael voss dustin martin adam goodes
  13. while there was a lot of frothing over a viral photo of him looking incredibly buff during the preseason the most exciting thing about it was that he was WEARING BOOTS for the first time in pre-season training in about five years he's a heart and soul player
  14. i want jake bowey to go his whole 300+ career games for the melbourne football club undefeated
  15. according to all the coaches, yes he is doing it very well too
  16. i might be alone here, but thought lever's reading of the ball and marking - particularly early on when kelly was winning a heap of ball and bombing it forward - was excellent what he's not doing at the moment is going back quickly off his mark and moving the ball with speed and accuracy to the wings our backline looks so good with the three talls of may, lever, and petty in place
  17. near certainty that chandler will be suspended - anything that causes a concussion seems to automatically mean at least a week's suspension be interesting to see if they go with this as an opportunity to blood laurie - and for goodness sake, NOT as the sub - or stick with the next rotation 'role player' and 'type' in, which would be dunstan you would assume personally would love to see laurie debut IN: laurie, melksham [medi-sub] OUT: harmes (hamstring), chandler (suspended)
  18. i'll be very disappointed when we don't win by 74 points at perth stadium in future games that's our greatest ever winning margin over meth coke and their lowest ever score at home happy days
  19. 6: viney 5: petracca 4: pickett 3: mcdonald 2: oliver 1: brayshaw pretty even performance
  20. kozzi gets his head ripped off...free against; holding the ball bizarre
  21. some of our i50 kicks are so bad
  22. their pressure very good early
  23. what an outstanding team work that saw laurie kick a goal from 50 beautiful ball movement
