The Melbourne Problem!
Any name we throw up is flawed. Viney came the closest to being a true leader but I think his leadership is more suited to minor leagues. No one stands out.

Josh Caddy
Wouldn’t give up heaps for him, he is hot and cold, but when in form is a decent player. At least you know what you are getting over picking an untried kid. but if we are chasing Langdon would we have the right pick to trade for him? I dare say pick 2 won’t be used on either and one would prob take our second round pick and even a top 20 pick is generous. Neither super excite me. They are both solid players.

POSTMATCH: Rd 19 vs St. Kilda
Last few games with tmac and Weid, yes, Melksham played half the season, Hannan sure, AVB never plays and didn’t last year so no loss as he wasn’t there for the whole season pretty much. But for the first half the year we had a lot of our best players in and all play8ng skilless horrible football. Injuries are a factor but not even close to being THE factor of our shiteness for this year.

POSTMATCH: Rd 19 vs St. Kilda
For those talking about injuries, missing games etc. Lets agree that yes, we have, especially in the back 6. But, our best have played. Oliver, Gawn, Tmac for most of the year. And going by last year, Harmes, Brayshaw, Salem who were also good. They have played most of the year. But let’s face facts, getting the ball, not much of a problem, skills, massive problem even from those who are our best users of the ball. Our problems have been this. We get it into f50 lots, we score very little, they get it into their f50 usually less and score much more. And they do so very very easily. Goal kicking, not a new thing, we have been poor for years. Desire to gut run defensively. We run in beautiful waves forward and jog backwards. Game plan, last year Goodwin had a great plan with the extra players off the back of the square. This year, no idea.

Maybe dropping bricks on their heads might work this time...

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs St Kilda
Hunt is the slowest “speedster” in the game. And he does not chase at any sort of speed, just meanders around the ground.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs St Kilda
Not a Oscar fan, but that was a great kick and poor defending by us. Or plugins the gap, it was the only place to lead.

After the first 3 minutes we have reverted back to our good old skills set. I have cleaned plumbing with less [censored] in it.

Jordan Lewis is NOT cooked, give him 1 more season.
You are right, he ain’t cooked. He charcoal! He is so over cooked he ain’t even good no more. In saying that, if he played on at a very very low wage and knew he was a Casey player unless outstanding form/injuries he is just insurance. Then I’d be ok for a another year.

Big 3 at the G
I for one lol forward to the big three! For all of them I’ll be in Europe not giving a flying fuckalopa

My 3 word player analysis V Bulldogs
Brayshaw- not a wingman play him in the guys or not at all. Like jones when they had him on the wing. It’s not their game, they aren’t that sort of player. Dumb coaching again.

POSTGAME: Rd17 vs Bulldogs
We fumble so so often and we try and tackle with just our arms instead of getting our bodies behind it and they waltzed on through.

My 3 word player analysis V Carlton
Missed a simple handball on the wing that would have put us in the clear and into an empty f50 with numbers advantage, instead he turned it over and they kicked a goal. Second a poor handball 10 meters out from goal resulted in a scramble instead of an easy goal. centred the ball at the top of the 50 to an outnumber whilst under no pressure and they ran it down the other end. He turned the ball over badly with simple skill errors. He was as bad as he was good.

My 3 word player analysis V Carlton
Viney: always takes on tackles (even when not the best option) Weid: better at chf Salem: fumbled twice, weird. Frost: Dr.Jeckyll and Mr Hyde Nibbler: misses goals regularly Hunt: cost 4 goals Hannan: oh he played? Petty: might have future Pruess: good game Jones: good game Hibbo: patchy, but solid Oliver: very good again Dunkley: good first game Hore: big loss Tmac: found form... injured Trac: play on instinct Fritsch: still can’t defend Brayshaw: lost on wing Harmes: another solid game Lewis: past it. Lockhart: will improve May: solid again
