Agree he cops it as bad as any player in the comp. Part of this is his reaction to this from players and they think they can get under his skin. On game day you see him have a go at umps or whinge. The club needs to do this on his behalf during the week to the umps div. He needs to keep a cool head. Easier said than done, much easier. But if he can he will cop less of it.

And those complaining about Oliver’s punch/non punch. May the end of the day don’t throw a punch there is no free. Any punch thrown wether it hits or not should be a week of the AFL were actually serious about eradicating punches thrown. It’s an unnecessary act that leads to nothing positive but can lead to negative consequences. So why do it. It’s stupid.

It’s the games where he does multiple chases and pressure that mean more than a few extra stats. When he does this it’s hugely beneficial and one time him and Kozzie chases four players and the kick was rushed and down the line to Brayshaw who marked.

Got the multi in the Essendon game straight after although it paid less I’m still slightly up so that helps mitigate it. But man I was about to jump up and saw the pass and screamed nooooooooooo. My wife just starred at me like I was a loony.

Weid started to impact contests, when the ball was kicked to his advantage or a 50/50 i think he did very well. Omac was solid allowing May and Lever to play a more attacking role. Glad to see more handballs to players 5+ meters away running into space, switching play and going slower. Amazing that suddenly we can do this after copping it in the media... it’s like we had a new game plan or one that suddenly worked the week the heat was applied. Oliver’s handball to Gawn then is why he will never be a great player. He chooses terrible options time and time again. He has got worse since he started.

TBH, I doubt I’d be upset if the club folded. My frustration with them has gone other than on game day, once that’s done they become mostly irrelevant in my life as does the AFL.

We will go nowhere with this coaching group. Oliver has gone backwards so fast he will soon end up being worthless to us. His ability to hit a target in a good position is non existent. Our mids don’t put much pressure on, our forwards do not chase other than picket. North are loving this.
