Started supporting half way through 1965. Lived with last round 1976 and the Footscray Carlton draw. UK for 1987 then lived through 5 minutes of sunshine under Swoop, Balmey and Rev. Felt for the tragedies and early passings that have been well documented. Allegations of tanking - was at Jordie MCMahon game. Also 186, in Geelong Members’ Stand. Watched as the Neeld horror show unfolded - a loss less than 100 was “break even”. Subsequently watched from home in Vietnam and in Covid, saw 5 games at MCG this year. Never in dreams when PJ and Roos come on board did I think we’d be live for the finals 64 games later in 2015. Carlton thumped us. For 2019 didn’t even have us in the eight. Dream scenario would’ve been to win one final. Thx PJ, Paul Roos
