Jake Bowey’s second game of AFL footy. Lots of water under the bridge since then.

It’s looming as a situation whereby we should be glad that AMW slipped under the radar last year while Mac Andrew was getting all of the attention from the recruiters.

… and kick straight when up forward -
Let’s not get carried away just yet with our young blokes - it’s only pre-season training time and the practice matches are still a good few weeks away.
-
On what I’ve seen of JVR, he will play up forward.
-
Earlier training photos had Andy Moniz-Wakefield wearing the #41 so JMcV gets another jumper - perhaps 43?

Saturday Morning on Demonland (12)

I used to be a grumpy person but winning the premiership has turned me into a model citizen. I don’t litter the streets and I help little old ladies cross the road. I’ve become a cross between Mahatma Ghandi and Jesus. -
Considering the subject matter, it’s quite humorous.

The idea of playing in the first match of the round grew on me last year when we won those Friday night games. Looking forward to it now.

2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Blistering replied to TRIGON's topic in Melbourne Demons
The NGA system for all clubs except the northern academies is basically on its knees. Who would spend years developing a kid for him to be virtually open slather for selection by other clubs. -

Getting Real Value Out Of The Draft

On the other hand, the 2020 draft: 1. Jamarra Ugle-Hagan (Western Bulldogs) 2. Riley Thilthorpe (Adelaide) 4. Logan McDonald (Sydney) 6. Denver Grainger-Barras (Hawthorn) 8. Nik Cox (Essendon) 10. Zach Reid (Essendon) -
This should be interesting because all of a sudden a number of players who have been completely out of the limelight for the past three months are going to be front and centre. Reputations could be made if players test well.
-
I’m still liking the look of this player. I see that he seems to be drifting out of the estimation of the draft gurus. Cal Twomey has him at 21.

Here’s the link to the story. Good luck getting past the pay wall. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/subscribe/news/1/?sourceCode=HSWEB_MRE170_a&dest=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.heraldsun.com.au%2Fsport%2Fafl%2Fdraft%2Fmac-andrew-opens-up-on-his-meteoric-rise-as-his-afl-draft-stocks-soar%2Fnews-story%2F9abf2f091c60a268079d2deb1a185b82&memtype=anonymous&mode=premium&v21=dynamic-cold-test-score&V21spcbehaviour=append It’s a nice feature on his life and attitude to football but very little analysis of Mac’s game.
