  3. On the other hand, the 2020 draft: 1. Jamarra Ugle-Hagan (Western Bulldogs) 2. Riley Thilthorpe (Adelaide) 4. Logan McDonald (Sydney) 6. Denver Grainger-Barras (Hawthorn) 8. Nik Cox (Essendon) 10. Zach Reid (Essendon)
  4. I wonder if the likes of Declase and Hore have their eyes on the fact that unless you nominate for the draft, you won’t be eligible to be selected by your original club again at the following mid-season intake. Return of the Mummy, Part II? Retired Giant's shock draft nomination
  5. This should be interesting because all of a sudden a number of players who have been completely out of the limelight for the past three months are going to be front and centre. Reputations could be made if players test well.
  6. I’m still liking the look of this player. I see that he seems to be drifting out of the estimation of the draft gurus. Cal Twomey has him at 21.
  7. Going to the Cats so no longer of interest on the draft board.
  8. Here’s the link to the story. Good luck getting past the pay wall. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/subscribe/news/1/?sourceCode=HSWEB_MRE170_a&dest=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.heraldsun.com.au%2Fsport%2Fafl%2Fdraft%2Fmac-andrew-opens-up-on-his-meteoric-rise-as-his-afl-draft-stocks-soar%2Fnews-story%2F9abf2f091c60a268079d2deb1a185b82&memtype=anonymous&mode=premium&v21=dynamic-cold-test-score&V21spcbehaviour=append It’s a nice feature on his life and attitude to football but very little analysis of Mac’s game.
  9. MELBOURNE CEO SHOOTS DOWN "BEAT UP" REPORTS AROUND NIGHTCLUB STOUSH WITH WESTERN BULLDOGS “Responding for the first time to the allegations, the Melbourne CEO said there wasn’t anything sinister that came from the potential incident.”
  10. As much as I wish Jay well, it’s a strange decision by GWS to chase a player who has been on another club’s list for a year and a half and struggled to get a game. Then again, they are after Brander as well and he’s very much in the same boat.
  11. We were hard done by in 2020 but we needed that extra 12 months for that younger group who underpinned our success to mature.
  12. Thanks WJ. Fullerton’s a nice part of the world, sunny climate and very close to Disneyland. And if Deakin’s into beaches and surfing, the drive to Huntington Beach isn’t too far.
  13. It’s been written elsewhere that the is a a shortage of young ruck talent available for this draft. That being the case, it’s hard to fathom that the best ruck draft prospect would still be available with our second draft pick at 39 (or wherever that eventually falls).
  14. Yes. Where does this leave Collingwood’s ruck stocks? They have Grundy, Darcy Cameron and Mason Cox who according to most judges, is a tall who is no good in the ruck. By the time they use up their draft points to acquire Nick Daicos, they’re not going to be in a position to pick up any ruck gems.
  15. When the write Adrian Dodoro’s biography, this will go down as yet another triumph.
  16. Yes. Sheldrick is very hard at the contest. Reminds me of another player who wears the number 7.
  17. Not playing in this week’s SA v WA Under 19 game in Adelaide.
  18. I trust they will have improved their act since last week’s SA v Allies game.
  19. It says that Melbourne has eight players without a contract. Who are the other seven?
  20. Do we still have a no [censored]heads policy.
  21. Firewall … could you please provide the quote referencing AMW?
  22. Yes, he can be signed up on a contract but at the end of the year, he has to be uplifted from the primary list. This year, he could end up being one of the three players to go onto the senior list at the time of the draft.
  23. Your lucky the AFL stream works for you. I’m not getting a thing.
