I’ll admit I didn’t rate him as high as others in College but he really looked the part in that game and the Jets are very much a solid football team.
  4. Some of these calls are real harsh
  5. Fritsch showing just how good he is by foot. First up starter next year.
  6. Lockhart really looks the part.
  7. Yep, we keep JKH on the list. Depth option at worst.
  8. The umpiring isn’t too flash.
  9. Sorry but I’m simply not one of those people that hates a team for all eternity just because they smashed us yesterday. I’d hate about 17 teams if that were the case. I will actually be more angry at them if they don’t get it done against the hated filth. I also feel more comfortable when losing to a team in the prelim if they go on to win it because then there’s a sense of them being the best team and there was no shame in getting done by them.
  10. Just tuned in. Dec Keilty having a good duel with Lewis.
  11. Great question for some, others it’s quite simple. West Coast for me, very easy choice. Not happy about either but yeah. As much as I’d love to just not watch it I don’t tend to miss watching Grand Final day. I’ve missed more Melbourne Cups to be honest. West Coast winning represents the least discomfort personally. Collingwood gives you that ‘not knowing where to look’ feeling and there’s been plenty of that recently, it was quite unbearable watching Richmond win last year personally.

Sorry mate, last night was rough. Didn’t mean to be flippant as you were simply asking a question. At the time there were at least 3 articles like the one below that suggested Lever was out of contract. https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/teams/adelaide/young-adelaide-crows-defender-jake-lever-declares-his-intent-to-return-to-victoria/news-story/0b904aa6d47fb8e6eb099aafe9cff021 It led me to believe that he was a restricted free agent (due to not being in the system for 8 years or whatever it is). It even says Adelaide would have forced him into the Pre Season draft if need be. If he wasn’t a free agent would they have just paid him out and delisted him to do this? There’s been a lot of confusion understanding free agency since it’s come in. At first it seemed like the AFL sorted all compensation either restricted or unrestricted but after that trade I and I think many others started thinking that you had to trade for an RFA. It seems like the whole thing was wrong and he was in contract and that this was just a clear trade. Learning on the fly.
  13. Frost - Cold as frost Lewis - Dead set honker
  14. Well I’ve traded the bedroom for just a dark room now BBO.
  15. Also let’s get a few names happening. Who are the 6 who can walk right into the BP/HBF composed kick, slow the game down when necessary, leadership role? If I hear Josh Wagner as one of these I’ll be very upset!
  16. It’s all just one long day to me.
  17. Sorry mate, I didn’t help matters..
  18. I’m surprised we had 6 players that made such a positive impact on you!
  19. Not exactly like for like but it will be good when he’s back.
  20. The game plan is sound. It may need some tinkering here and there but it is solid. I think that in terms of execution of the game plan we are not at full capacity. Maybe about 75-80% of what we can do with it. It can’t happen overnight and we are making progress with it.
  21. He was terrible today but he has to play on next year for mine. We’ll never know the full extent of the impact he’s had but I reckon it’s definitely more than what the eyeball test shows. Plus we do not have replacements for that position, not yet anyway.
