RIP footy tipping.

The first game I didn't have money on him as a goalkicker.. Money well spent, onya Dirk!
-
Pressure rating 200 for the first quarter according to Wheelo. Sounds like starting a game with high pressure is important.
-
There's a Wheelo app???

Why did it take it take so long to run Rivers through the middle? Reaping the rewards now.

Best game so far from Windsor

I'm really upset that Essendon had their only half decent win of the season yet still seem entrenched in the top 4. Nothing would please me more than to tear them a new one next week!
-
Nah I'm happy for the Swans to win it all if we don't. Anyone who disagrees can please themselves and that's A ok.

Love a good return. Really glad the milkshakes are back in the yard. Not gonna hear a bad word from me today.

First game I've gone to in a while with some friends and some beers. Out of character these days but I'm not complaining or apologising, go dees!

I thought today was fine. Good win, nice sunny fay for a change. Really got nothing else to say, a good day at the footy.

On the tram now, was busy watching England and Switzerland. I'm ready as well, hope you all are too.

It's amazing how they can still be top 4 with 1 decent win in 5 games

Way to [censored] the bed Collingwood.

Yeah I've been watching. As much as possible anyway. Good to see all the big nations make it through to the quarter finals, should make for some great matches. Spain and Germany probably the pick of them tomorrow but Portugal and France should be a ring-a-ding game as well. England haven't really clicked but they get another chance to put it together against Switzerland who have been really impressive and I wouldn't be surprised if they pull off the upset. Great weekend of football coming up!

Seems like another Dunstan to me. 'Up and under' king who accumulates but not much else.

Being lost trying to find a place 100 metres up the road wouldn't be beyond them..

The thing is, for at least 3 seasons being predictable was what got us where we wanted to be. When playing against Melbourne you knew what we were going to do, you knew how we were going to setup but most teams couldn't stop it, because we were pretty damn good at it. The tweaks came at a time when they probably needed to. Nothing works forever and 100% of the time and I still think it's been good to see some evolution in how we go about it. At times we've trialed guys in other positions, some to good effect. I think it would unfair to Goodwin to say that he constantly goes back to the well. I think posts like yours have their place because they stimulate conversation. Personally I don't think our issues are due to being too predictable, the players themselves have looked confused with the gameplan this year. We're trying to find new avenues to catching teams off-guard and while it may not look great at the moment they're obviously trying to do something about it.
