  1. It should be said that complacency was probably inevitable. You just don't want to get stuck in it
  2. Hopefully this happens again.
  3. Come on Demons11, there are scrubs on DL but you aren't one of them. Yes I'm not going to pretend i'm a physio and say i've studied the lisfranc injury to within an inch of its life but I've read a few good articles from specialists. The track record of this injury is awful with players and usually means lengthy time periods out of the game, I'm yet to hear of a minor Linsfranc injury. It's fair to say you back in the medical staff's judgement, that's fair. But I and others have got some questions about their all round performance there as well. It's looking like Max was rushed back, Jackson played injured and many more questionable cases. It is possible that they got it wrong this year in more cases than one. T-mac is a required player next year and risking playing him in a VFL final didn't make sense to me. This stuff about players playing the game they love above all cautious measures? I get it but it reminds me of the Jack Viney syndrome that kept setting him back so often.
  4. Well it is a possibility. I just feel like deals usually get done these days but who knows.
  5. Don't mind Darcy Moore on the panel
  6. Would love Henry in our team. Think this would be a good place for him to excel and get his game tuned in.
  7. If a player can help us then we'll probsbly consider them. I think recycled project players are out.
  8. Jealousy aside, it is so great to see Grand Final back at the G. Seeing some of those MCC people waiting since Thurs and the old door buster sale thing. Fantastic.
  9. Yeah I've found myself not watching or listening to as much media surrounding this game.
  10. Exactly, they should think of us more.
  11. Any news on this junk?
  12. Yeah two first rounders and a second os a good start for negotiation. Cough up posers.
  13. I don't see Baker surviving. He's a straight line runner.
  14. An early second is about right I reckon. Really hope we can hold firm a bit om this.
  15. I never liked the idea of Max coming back early. Even when he hinted to coming back for the Adelaide game I thought it was idiotic frankly and the 5 days after that he's back. Needed to heal properly and another week or 2 could have done that. Instead we now hear he wasn't the same and suffered as a result.
  16. Very good win from the look of it. Carlton look [censored] this year.
  17. People at our club won't be doing their job if that happens
  18. If he stays he'd consider himself lucky. You can use injury as an excuse but successful clubs don't pee ball around with lines like that especially 18 months later. Competition for spots needs to be fierce and I don't understand how people can say guys like Hibbo are lucky to be here but Tommo should be persisted with.
  19. Grand Finals aren't the same without MFC in it.
  20. I reckon Solomon could be what they need. Hard nosed and knows the club well, could be the guy.
  21. Yeah. Lisfranc injury - extremly hard to come back from quickly and in most cases come back the same, metal plate in foot - very hard to run again fully within 12 weeks. It doesn't take an intimate knowledge Demons11. Some things are obvious.
  22. No but you're right, they didn't provide the full report in PDF form or anything like that so shouldn't have said 'facts'. The one fact is that there are allegations I guess
