Oh yeah. I felt for him, ridiculous error but I did feel for him. There were so many things they could have done in that last 30 seconds, to think they couldn't even get a shot at the sticks is embarrassing.

It's going well for the moment, Slot has kept a lot of the Klopp philosophy and the high presses are still there with everyone stepping up and doing their bit. I love the way he uses Endo and brings him on late with a lead for some solidarity. However the squad is pretty thin and the real test will be when we start picking up a few injuries. I do see some points being dropped in that scenario unless there is a dream run. The contract talk of Salah, Alexander-Arnold and VVD will start to intensify as we go into December so how much of a distraction that turns out to be will factor in as well. Will see where things sit at the new year. The game against City this week will tell a lot!

    Unbelievable. Garbage coaching.
  4. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Trent develops. As a mid he's your run and gun type and doesn't bring much nonsense. Lots to like about his future.
  5. Fair enough, I do appreciate your insight.
  6. Come on mate, it's off season. Save the fire for the season and gameday threads!
  7. That's right. There's a forward spot up for grabs and someone needs to reach for the brass ring. I've barely seen or heard a thing about this guy but I'm hoping he's in the mold of someone like Tim 'Bull' Smith and just competes and competes till they have to go home.
  8. Thank you for this Jack. It gets harder and harder to find a full draft list quickly online.
  9. Wouldn't hurt! Well, only the Pies..
  10. @Wilson7 On behalf of DL thanks for being among the first to use the new thumbs down feature. I'm genuinely interested to hear your side and on why you disagree. From where I sit there's an awful lot of spruiking going on and it seems to be less about Kalani, more than happy to hear other sides though.
  11. 42 is a great number for him, I've always said that and being saying it for years..
  12. There's a thumb down reaction now
  13. It's getting a little cringe tbh.
  14. And don't forget a mongrel with mongrel.
  15. Happy birthday Charlie Knuckles, have a great one.
  16. This is exactly why I didn't see it coming, if anything he should be a no.9. That's hilarious btw, I always see No.2 as the more boring and dour but honest CB or FB in the team.
  17. He's a good player agent
  18. I don't think Langford is going to be likened to anyone, he's a massive point of difference aerially and with his left foot. Could be a metres gained player like Hayden Young or a physical presence like Trac, who knows.
  19. Never forget you can make up 2cm in height through sheer mongrel.
  20. Didn't expect Turner with 10. At all.

Man I wish I could find the membership card thing they sent out that year with all the draftees, the fresh faced shot of Max always made me laugh. I kept this on the fridge for years and had scribbled out the photo of the no.1 pick and wrote some expletives next to it.
  22. Plenty but Harrison Petty is the key one for me. The foot was clearly an issue early on but if he gets a good pre season in I'm confident he can provide value whether forward or back. Tom Sparrow another one who really needs to cement his place. The coaches could do him a favour too by dropping this HFF experiment. Oliver for obvious reasons and for god's sake Christian Salem if you can just recapture half of that 2021 form then we'll be in good stead. McAdam will be playing for his career at this point so a big year from him is necessary, give us 10 possessions and 1-2 goals a game and you'll be in. Kade Chandler ditto, needs to get more of it and do better with what he does get. I'm surprised that Jake Lever hasn't been mentioned, needs to stay healthy. To be honest you could name half the list.
