  1. Escaped the pits of hell for another day
  2. Ah just remembered what happens if the Dogs win
  3. I've heard senior used to ask the waiter in restaurants if he could go into the back to measure his portions. But we don't tolerate unsubstantiated rumours on Demonland..
  4. The 'good' Cornes Chad 😀
  5. Let's show the guy some support, dry track, time to bag a hatful.
  6. This week has torn us apart. Hopefully we get back to being nice to each other.
  7. Take the short option if it's on, keep the ball in motion and the opposition guessing. No need to bomb as first option within 2 seconds every time.
  8. Be better at contested footy in the 50. We rule it in midfield and defence.
  9. For sure, I have faith he'll be professional if he's called upon though and I hope there is one more chance in store.
  10. Have a lot of great memories of the Sandy alignment and went to a lot of games during that time. It's a great footy club and John Mennie was a great general manager. It a lot of ways they would still be my VFL club, nothing against Casey but I don't have the same connection with them other than seeing how our listed players are going there.
  11. In my opinion it's these smaller details in a footy club that build culture and morale. May not seem like a big deal without something here or there but it all contributes to a big fat sterile AFL club and why would people want to go there if no-one cares? I know banners aren't easy to make and it takes many hands to make light work (As we've seen on here this year) but when everyone talks about how clubs like this need culture, this stuff is it.
  12. But Carey did his shoulder in that game so that is still strange.
  13. Loved it too, you just feel there was that little bit more excitement for Ooze doing it for his good mate's kid.
  14. Jury is definitely still out on this, it was a calculated risk and hasn't beared fruit yet. Really hoping it can but we need a few more goals out of both.
  15. Damn it I was being tongue in cheek, disappointed it was actually true.
  16. Possibly, would make sense. I find it hard to believe though that the club thought it was ok for him to be running days after it happened and then miss 6 - 7 weeks if there hasn't been a setback or re-injury.
  17. We need: - To win more games - Have the matchday circled in our calendars - Make sure they pump each other up. They weren't pumped up enough last game, we would have won if they pumped each other up more.
  18. Does it have to be that name?
  19. NFL

John Demonic posted this on the footy boards but I've watched it about 10 times this week in between periods of lamenting our inaccuracy. DB had such an uncomplicated and fluid kicking motion and the ball stays still throughout the run up. So good.
  20. Would you say it's a bit of sweet chin music Macca? 🙂
  21. They should be showing kids that video in school. The most uncomplicated kicking stance and beautiful art.
  22. Oooooh yeah!!
  23. This injury economics is making us brokanomics.
  24. Melksham to kick 4?
