Wasting energy on hating something like this is futile, like moving the Grand Final to night, there are more important things to be angry at. I'll say it again, I don't like it. I can only think that something different happens with YT's compression to audio when it was uploaded there. Possibly stricter parameters than Insta/the website etc. I do know for a fact that if the audio and video track aren't exactly the same length as each other it completely stuffs up the audio sync on YT. As you said though, always test.
