The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Did Bowey play as a mid through his u18 years, would like to see him on a wing kicking the ball into forward 50m. Early draft picks, with the pick we will get for Grundy we will have 4 picks inside the top 30 plus another mid 30, all about improving our draft position to get 4 picks as early as possible in the draft.

Cool light of day
Come on, Carlton had to kick 2 goals in 90 seconds to win, everything that has been drilled into our players over the past 4 or 5 years fell to pieces im that 90 secs.

Concussion and where to next?
Does that mean the header from soccer goes, the rebound from basketball, any action in any sport that has the potential to cause a head knock banned or as a participant you accept by playing that sport there is a chance of injury

GAMEDAY: SF vs Carlton
Matt Kennedy is there to play a defensive role, not sure if that is on Oliver or Jake Lever. I expect a mid role on Oliver and to protect cripps. Just need a good start, the blues have been up for a long time, give them a sniff and we will be in trouble, jump them early hit the scoreboard and they will deflate very easy.

Concussion and where to next?
I'm involved at Junior level, the number 1 cause of concussion that I've seen are from a sling tackle. Grounds are harder these days, as soon as the head hits the ground you are in trouble. The crack down on this action has certainly decreased the concussions. The bump players know you bump high you are in trouble. The next is the so called footy acts, when you look at these very few and far between. I think the moment you go past the ball and hit high in any contact form you will be in trouble.

Trade Rumours 2023
He isn't coming back from an ACL tear at his age. My understanding is that if you are injured and delisted you still get some sort of remuneration from AFL until you are fully recovered, plus you still will have access to the best rehab. As good as he was for a handful of games, he should be delisted, maybe rookie him at best

Spot on, no point drafting key forwards if we can't hit them up.
