i picked him to be a most improved player on here about 3 years ago. He showed a bit of extra flash in a couple of his early games. Took him a while to find his grunt, but he has shown us a lot this year the number 4 sits well

Oliver has more grunt than R Flower and his awareness of where the ball is and where team mates are around him is superb Robbie had amazing skills, grace and balance throughout his entire 14 year career

How do you know that? Each Player who puts on the Jumper and runs over the white line should feel proud to be part of 160 years of evolving history. I know that’s how i felt when i walked into GTV 9 in 1986 on my first day, there was instantly History on every wall i passed. The same happened a year later when i jjoined ABC Melbourne in Ripponlea. History was proudly shown and i was now a part of it Put it this way, if Whorethorn win another flag this year (God help us) nobody will give a dam, infact many TV’s will be switched off before the end. If the MFC pull it off it will be F$&@ing huge, because of our last 54 years of heartbreak and at times desolation. I think the players are a tight unit, yes but i think they also know the history and how much it would mean to smash the chains that have held us back

The only way forward is to break the chains and do the hard work. This club hasn’t worked hard enough for success since 1964. It has hoped it would win. We have a chance this year to change that, but 7 other teams will be looking for our weak spot, hell we have shown it to them enough. You can deny psychology all you like, but it is an important factor. If Goodwin can break the Hoo Doo he will be a revered man, but a long way to go yet

I do support them. I sent the MCC & MFC $914 yesterday, so don’t lecture me. Deny history at your own peril (If i shut my eyes it is not happening). Everyone employed at our club should be embracing our history and be ready to create their own stamp. We have 12 Flags and then a big gap 13-15 would be nice
