  1. Yep. A back up Ruckman is far more important. Good Luck to Dom Playing Footy with a broken arm is a gutsy move...
  2. If we wanted something from Fremantle i would agree, but we don’t. They want one of our players, and have done for years. He is 23, yet to peak. That is well known if the Shockers want to pay ? up, they pay Premium $$$ right now or go away. This talk of Hogan not invested in the club after all the assistance we have shown him during his Cancer sickness and his fathers death is offensive to me. If Jesse plays next year he will crack in. We don’t have a Harley Bennel situation here. Too many opinions turn into “facts” on these discussion boards.
  3. He is a professional footballer. We have all had Grumpy days. I personally think the magnifying glass is on Jesse more than others. If there is no extension to a contract then he plays 2019 and then renegotiates next year. That’s modern Footy. Contract lengths mean nothing now. If a player REALLY wants to move, they will. The club can only plan Year to Year
  4. Yes Fremantle need to negotiate with us, that’s the way it must be. They have wanted our Forward for years. So pay up we are not far from a Premiership, we must maximize every chance to go flat out next year. I am sure the playing group would prefer Jesse in the side next year. If Hogan really wanted out of the MFC this year,we would have heard a definitive request by now he is quite at liberty to get a valuation on his worth. I do it regularly with my properties
  5. And who says he is not committed? You, a mate on Facebook? once the ball is bounced Jesse will crack in...
  6. I agree. That isn’t the discussion.
  7. It’s all about 2019 for me. I want a crack at the Flag with Hogan in the side. If he is sold i expect a top return, i am not interested in bargaining, because the buyers are at the door. Take it or F&@k off
  8. He is a gun forward who could kick 60-70 goals at 23. His value to us is high either way. I am just amazed at the amount of people who are prepared to see him given away. Fremantle need a forward. Let them pay a high price.. or walk away empty handed.
  9. We don’t have to get used to anything. Hogan can play for the MFC next year Freo can get f$&@d Do not bend over.
  10. This i would agree with IF Jesse was 29 and looking for a final contract. He isn’t in that scenario. It’s 2 high first round picks or the deal is off. Hogan is a contracted MFC Player those saying the MFC are trying to Push Hogan out the door ? make me laugh....
  11. Absolutely. But it may not be Basil’s fault, is what i am alluding to. Sometimes a presenter sits in the chair and is told to “go” without a pre read. No time. I can guarantee there will be meetings and memos written at 7Perth today. Advertisers don’t like being associated with on air [censored] ups
  12. It happens when a journalist is working on a super late story (still editing the story once the News has begun) or maybe writing multiple copy at the same time. The story may have been written by someone else and Basil has just read what is projected in front of him cold.
  13. Possibly a few people make up the chain, for that story to get to air, it is not possible it was just an “accident “
  14. Heads will roll, for sure
  15. Yes the job of the sub editor seems to have almost vanished. It is a big worry, that we just accept. The “Subby” had the final say as to if my story went on TV ? or not, it was a Yes or No, if no then it was a blisteringly quick re edit to make changes
  16. Last nights report from 7Perth was a complete balls up. Somebody read something on the net, and believed it. How it got through to Basil during a News Bulletin is incredible. People got the sack for situations like that, when i was in a Newsroom fulltime...
  17. It’s most interesting that Basil reported it for 5 seconds....
  18. Freo have baulked i would put cash ? on it....
  19. Well Well Well....
  20. Lachie Neale was the highly rated player... i am quite happy for Hogan to play out his contract, i want top class picks or else we keep our elite contracted player. It’s up to The Shockers to ? sweat...
  21. Who knows what Brayshaw will do after he was KO’d....? 2 Top 10 Picks is what Hogan is worth....
  22. 23 year Key Forward is worth 2 Top Picks. Take it or leave it. A contract still stands at this point
  23. Looks like it’s still picks 5 & 6 or the deal is off Good.
  24. So many opinions being written forcibly on here as fact....
