Goodwin backed in his Gameplan, calling it a bad day. I always have thought it was far worse, along with others on here. The Coach now, either still backs in his plan or he has hit the wall. I think Simon is a good bloke, but i have always been worried that a rookie coach would not be able to sort this club out, our issues are too deep. He still has the chance to prove me wrong, and i hope he does, but a huge loss tonight will be a serious punch on and off the field. Our list is not balanced, regardless of injury. The 2019 rules have completely sideswiped the MFC Football Dept. how this happened has me very concerned.

Tactics must be changed to suit what we have available hone in on ball skills, don’t just play last years model. It never works...

Yes i can just see all the coaches doing a quick 20 minute review of the Preliminary Final before they all went on holidays ”hurry up i need to get to the airport...” To not do a thorough review with all players present was a vey naive thing to do which is now biting us hard

I would think an aggressive press is unsustainable week after week, far too physically taxing on the players. An aggressive press is a weapon to use sporadically in my view, not a “brand” But the coach seems to think differently

And this could go on for another 4 years!!!
