He didn’t play in that era. He played in a successful era. once a Player leaves, they fade. Barassi did it to us I honestly feel that some supporters do not want sustained success, we have achieved nothing in 56 years. 56 Grand Finals on OUR Home Ground have gone to our opponents with not one Norm Smith Medal. Well that was pretty damming MFC. Hard Work creates Respect, over and over again. Not just a few weeks here and a few weeks there this is my 50th year watching the Demons and not one of those years did we have Respect (Northey got close) but it didn’t happen

People bagging out McClure for making cheap lazy comments is part of our problem. We don’t expect enough of our club as a whole. yes Sellers is a cranky old bastard, but he did win 3 Flags in 4 years as the CHF, which in his day was the Dominant Position on the Ground Rather than bag him out, i prefer to listen, because whatever we have done over the last 56 years (and counting) has failed. Do all of our Players give 100% to themselves and their teammates? I have my doubts (even a little bit off is enough) Max has to set the standards and hold them.

You haven’t been reading the responses by the wider Community in Melbourne. The venue was severely frowned upon. I have been a Member of the MCC since 1982, back then The MCC Reserve was Men Only I thought it was great, but it wouldn’t survive today. The pendulum has swung, as i said before, whether you or i like it Faulty. The AFLW has seen to that. (I don’t watch it, but the younger generation does) You and I may think it is an overreaction, but that is irrelevant We have to play the game, if we want some new elite Training Facilities
