Let me get this straight. The boss of the Tassie Hacks thinks the Melbourne Footy Club should play out of the Gold Coast? He just doesn't get it, does he? We are Melbourne, the establishment of footy, oldest footy club ever. And we're the Melbourne Football Club. You'd think that was pretty plain and simple to sink in. Does funny things to you, spending too much time down in the land of apples and the extinction capital of Oz (they've extincted the Tassie Tiger, Lake Pedder, their Aborigines and it won't be long before the Tassie Hawkers are heading the same way). i am all for curtain raisers...i reckon they should play them their during all day games, no need for them at night matches. if they did id get their at 12, watch the game and then have lunch their. ok i know its expensive, but i get a full days entertainment, not just 2.5 hours. i know the g looks great these games, but o you reckon 1 extra game a week is too much?

i would love to see a plan at capturing the imagination of the tin lids...it seem that they go to some schools and some villages whatever but everything they do is on a small and forgettable scale.. granted funds arent there but what is the use of send heroes to a school ....once....

donate melbourne footies to every primary school in there sports section.. so when the kids have a kick they think of melb... we need to attract the next bunch of melb supports instead of trying to woo a bunch of old men from the mcc.

Something that has been missed so far. On Mondays Mark Robinson has his little Column with John Anderson. On Many occassions i have seen RoBinson take a cheap shot at a player. So why is he so "High & Mighty" Now.There are many better Journalists around than Robinson. Listen to him on the Radio. It seems to me that Dr. Turf would know a fair bit about incompetence because that's what he called Joe Gutnick when he supported the Szondy ticket that overthrew him. I have taken some liberties with the team that could have been.

We could have taken Fevola in 98 instead of Lamb & in 99 Simon Black (T Longmuir) & Adam Hunter rather than P Wheatley & also in 01 Campbell Brown & Nick Del Santo instead of S Armstrong & L Molan & in 2000 Johncock was available ahead of D Breese.

James Kelly ended up at Geelong as part of the Grgic/Bizzell deal & there was a possibility of a trade between Ryan Ferguson for Brad Sewell.

I am also assuming we kept Simmonds, Jolly, Travis & Scott Thompson & am making the realistic assumption that with a half decent side Chris Judd would of come to us last year.
