  1. Getting beaten in straight sets on the MCG during September, always meant that changes were necessary. It hurts to see favourite players go, but The Club has to be hard on itself right now, to improve. I am now more interested in who comes into the 22 for next year
  2. That’s the way i see it. Just watched Tim Lamb’s Press Conference. The Club have worked out a strategy. We just have to watch it play out. Bedford wanting out has blindsided them, but nothing has been signed yet
  3. Dunstan only got a game this year when Viney was out. He is a Tough nut Dunstan, he deserves a decent crack. With all these changes it is going to be a very different side. We got Smashed in 2nd Halves for most of ‘22. The Finals were exactly the Same. Dunstan and other Casey boys will get a run next year. Bedford and Hunty is why
  4. Not up too me Spence. But Harmesy was always Fringe or tagging. We got worked out this year. Changes are needed Dunstan may well be very effective in Harmes Spot
  5. There is a lot of young talent that played in a VFL Flag this year, that needs Senior Experience The Demons haven’t been this Proactive in years
  6. Yep. There is Casey Talent that needs Senior exposure and experience. That said i will always have a special place for Harmesy That Beautiful spearing pass to Fritta after he took the ball in his fingertips….
  7. When the whip comes down Mother’s Little Helpers it could be The Last Time for any Satisfaction
  8. Hungry Jack’s is such a classy Sponsor
  9. I am sure this has been said elsewhere, but it really is a Serious problem. the whole Trading System is smashed and broken if this move is allowed to occur
  10. It was fairly obvious to all. But i was told he is gone. One must respect and protect a good source
  11. No not at all. It is possible to have friends who work on the inside. You are the Copy and Paste expert Nev your replies always come back within 5 minutes, without fail!!
  12. Interesting concept. I don’t mind it, but who can we target. LJ is still 20. Young Brayshaw is the only one who sticks out for me
  13. I love it when Posters on here demand to know a Source. I was told on August 20 that LJ was definitely going, but why say anything, it wasn’t worth the hassle. i was also told LJ loves the Demons and has no bad blood at all. Trading is now a part of the game. We must get a good deal coming back and no i will not reveal my source under any circumstance
  14. Absolutely. He is a Life Member of the Club, who was loved by all
  15. I honestly don’t understand these people who do not rate LJ and just want to get rid of him for whatever….
  16. If the Press hadn’t got a sniff of this, we would not have heard a word about it… that is the crux of this whole thing. The AFL can’t even get their 4 man panel together
  17. The Hawks response has been given “A bump in the road” From the President The AFL had the information for over a week and did nothing. I can fully understand why the Families talked with a trusted Journalist. It was their only chance
  18. The AFL would have swept it under the Carpet, as Jeff Kennett is trying to do, if the players and wives hadn’t spoken to the Media They have a past record of doing exactly that. This problem is way to big for the AFL to handle
  19. Must you complain about everything?
  20. I am suprised both Bedford and Hunt are gone. Fascinating to wait to see what happens in the next 2 weeks.
  21. Salem Fitness is crucial over the Preseason. He never got out of 2nd gear in ‘22. Grundy/Gawn will be fascinating The Club is seriously into Cadman, last I heard But the biggest interest for me next year is how Bedford/Kossie are used in tandem We need Bedford to be playing Senior Football. Very important Preseason for him
  22. I think Sheeds thinks Essendrug is still his Club and that he still rules. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out. A lot of Essendrug still believe Hird should have got the job
  23. Sheeds tried really hard
  24. I will miss the Running Headband and i wish Jayden all the best. I am glad he has another Contract in AFL. In 7 Seasons he played some great footy for us, but he never nailed a position and he was obviously near the edge of the 22 named. Last year he was dead stiff and it is sad, but these situations happen every year in Footy. Hunty is a Demon always, but we need to keep improving. Hopefully Bedford can step up at 22 Good Luck Jayden
  25. We Keep Bedford and Hunty goes Bedford is 22
