I am happy we have a tough run home. We get to play Finals Opponents as a run in to September.
Selwyn will have the list as fit as he can, just like last year at the right time.
The Club aimed at 15 wins before the Season (Top 4). We should exceed those expectations and be ready for another Serious Crack at 14
You just answered your own question
It’s very hard to lead an attack with 2-3 opponents when the ball is coming in high. Our small Brigade need to work harder
It’s difficult to mark the ball with 2-3 opponents trying to stop you. Losing TMac has made BBB job a lot more difficult, this is why our small guys have to get smarter
Players like Kosi and Bedford need to read the ball better as Benny contests. I think that is where a vast improvement is possible
Ben’s opponents very rarely outmark him so if our smalls can be at the fall of the ball more, we could kick 2-3 more goals a week
His game improved greatly in the 2nd half, and it helped keep the ball in our forward line
Kudos for the coaching he got at halftime and that he took it on
He will play some solid footy. Yes it’s frustrating, but he wasn’t far off having a big day yesterday.
There was one clear mark, the umpire didn’t pay.
But we all know how corrupt yesterday’s umpiring was
He gets a game next week if Max is not ready. But in the 1st Half we were almost a man down. Weid tried to be a Tap Ruckmen and it didn’t work. After Halftime he started to use his body far more effectively and let Tracc Clarry and Jack do the work
Which he had a lot of trouble doing in the first half. He needs to put his body into the contest more, which to his credit was much better in the latter part of the game.
