  1. since when was sense a requisite for politics?
  2. apparently fake news....afl never heard of it nor are they considering it
  3. they're still trying to understand the rules of the game, no time for comments
  4. only solution is do away with interchange coaches will have the choice of run their team into the ground or start resting onballers deep and keeping them deep guess what the will choose
  5. another high scoring game.......that 6:6:6 is sure working well, afl meddlers
  6. it's not just a 2020 season problem. it has been going on for years. the afl can be such a bunch of bungling amateurs sometimes and certain self-interested coaches have a lot to answer for too
  7. objectively i would roll back 90% of the rule changes/interpretations of the last 5 years (probably more years too) all they have added is confusion, inconsistency, supporter derision, complexity, unfairness and added diddly squat to the spectacle what a fn debacle #givemebackmygame
  8. there is no excuses reasons a plenty. a fully professional environment does work for some, bur for too many others it is their downfall, big money, lots of attention, molly coddled, can't think for themselves etc etc
  9. haha......."our best 22"......now there's an oxymoron if ever i heard one
  10. seems to me our problems are much more than just a coach or coaches what worries me is we could replace the coach, much of the fd, mahoney, pert most of the board...... ......and then we would be further in debt..... .....and getting a new home (which we desperately need) then gets put back another decade. and no-one wants to come to come to a club that has no proper home so, given all our problems, now might be a good bargaining time to get afl/gov support for a new home and not blow a lot of money into the breeze with a massive expensive reorganisation as we've done so poorly many times over just thinking
  11. maybe it's time to do something radical...... .........like merge with hawthorn
  12. how many goals have crumbers kicked this season anyway?
  13. really? you mean you can't work it out?
  14. since when was 9 days less than a week?
  15. richo has to be the dumbest commentator going around, drives me up the wall i get more sense from my wife talking in her sleep
  16. liked the way you reached out there to share your learnings
  17. taking it out of the soft cap means $100k less which probably equates to 1 less person in fd (or salary cuts spread across fd) salary cap cut would certainly have hurt more
  18. think the whole 100k still comes off soft cap for fd regardless of who pays the players can pay the club the 75k but the cap is still reduced
  19. AFL investigating two Tigers after fight outside Gold Coast strip club afl site
  20. mfc - not worth evaluating
  21. if no list cuts then that would suggest across the board pay reductions. guess it all depends on aflpa negotiations, being a choice of smaller lists or pay reductions if social distancing etc extends into next season as is expected things will get even tougher financially for the afl
  22. 4 goals is 4 goals......tigers lethargic for 3 quarters, cotchin, martin (and others) in snooze mode and missing quite a few players not saying wanchors were bad, but they weren't good either
  23. couldn't even score 30 points....and it wasn't because tigers were on song
  24. hogan huffing and puffing a lot
