Hypotheticals
same here webber. was staying in cotswalds, drove to a pub in oxford in the wee hours to watch. all over by quarter time. only saving grace was not facing all the barbs back home and forgiving my wife for booking a holiday in finals month.

COVID & AFL 2021
yes, but in this case a state of the commonwealth can't issue visa for interstate travel a better example is if i visit certain countries that are hotspots for yellow fever and i return to australia uninnoculated then on arrival i am put into quarantine for 2 weeks and the airline is given a substantial fine. this nearly happened to me about 40 years ago. i ended up in venezuela after a business trip change and when leaving to go home from caracas, the local qantas agent (who wouldn't know australia from austria) wouldn't let me board because i hadn't had the yellow fever innoculation. the only reason i got picked up was a couple of weeks earlier some australian got back to australia uninnoculated and qantas got fined, so had sent out a strong warning worldwide to all their agents

Majak Daw off-the-ball incident
agree ethan, but something happened and colonwood clearly lied for some reason i'm not trying to exonerate majak either, just wondering why he did what he did

Majak Daw off-the-ball incident
because brayshaw was impeding/holding him? or something else? at least it looked like brayshaw was holding. in this case there seems no apparent reason, hence the questioning. i'm not suggesting the r word, just thinking it might have been something we didn't see

Majak Daw off-the-ball incident
i wonder what provoked majak, looked very strange........and a bit unsavoury with cox not even facing him colonwood might have toned down the incident description because they knew something preceded it?

Finals 2021
personally couldn't care less.....unless it's us playing however, if i were geelong i'd rather at this stage be playing on the mcg as this is more the size of ground to win a flag on, rather than their skinny non-standard cardinia park

FIXTURE: Rd 23 2021
if we hadn't drawn with hawks or if umps got it right vs crows first time for a draw at least......then it wouldn't matter if we lose to geelong (by not too much) we would finish on top by % or if the afl agreed error in cats vs lions game was paid..... umpiring howlers could cost us the minor premiership......gggrrrrrr!

protected area rules need to be looked at too. too many inconsequential minor incidents given 50m. I also can't see why the protected zone doesn't apply to the attacking team. doesn't make sense for them to roam free as a bird anywhere in the zone. when it's a set shot close to goal the umps don't allow attacking side players in the zone but elsewhere on field they do. on the stand rule, i'd say 50% of defenders are not on the real mark position. umps rarely actually set the mark except when it's a set goal shot. and finally the umps lately see to have gone really hot on play-on calls, even when the players feet have not moved off the mark all in all, setting the mark, determining play-on and the protected area cause a lot of confusion
