Wonder if we would consider drafting a ruckman with an early pick say our 3rd pick and clearing say a Spencer and maybe Petterd to GC to get a mid like Caddy and a promise not to name JV. We would still have 2 early picks to use on mids.That would give us 4 new mids and we could use a later pick to get a small forward. Draft hope 'a match-winner'

You have missed the point, this is exactly the opposite. This is not a thread about discussion of T$ but rather anything but. Therefore there is no need to close it down. At the very worst we could change the name to delete his initials, but to close down the thread is unnecessary. We can just change the name to the "no B$" thread.

Heard a vicious rumour the other day that Whispering Jack is going to close down this thread after the GWS game next week. Talk about stifling Democracy and Freedom of Speech. I know it's about the individual and to that end we all wish Jack Fitzpatrick all the best. On another tangent, how much has this club had to deal with in the last year or two. Besides the well publicized events, we have had rookie Williams getting a life threatening brain virus and now Jack with diabetes. Forget all the broken bones etc, 2 serious illnesses in a month. No I think it is a bit of love. They have been unbelievably hard on him and with the win they see him in a slightly different light. However you are correct, they smell fresh blood elsewhere.

I think you have missed my point. I don't mind him calling our on field performances "disgusting and pathetic" it was the fact that he aimed that at the club itself. He said the MFC were disgusting and pathetic. As I said earlier if I see him I will take him up on it. He was actually attacking the entire staff and supporters of a club with what he wrote.

I can actually see us developing our own Cloke from within the list, unlike a Pendlebury, Thomas, Swan, Cotchin, Deledio, Martin, Sewell, Watson etc.
