Actually, if someone takes Michie before us, his spot is still there. He could be taken as a late draft pick or an early rookie pick by another club. Unlikely but possible.Also if that left one spot, Lovett would only take one spot. Unless they have a particular player in mind, Lovett is still a chance. It doesn't worry me, as I trust these guys to get it right, in the main.

Wonder if he will still be taken as a rookie, despite what we are being told? If not, can he be taken father son next year?

Coaches B & F votes are not the be all and end all. A bloke won a Brownlow this year and lost his club B & F, to a bloke who didn't make AA in his position after having not his best AFL season. Anyway we will see how Jack goes this season.

I only want to hear one thing from summer training and that is that no one is injured.

Maybe the fact that he gets a game every week, tells you more of how the Coaches rate his game.

So who are you certain is the other player the Bombers will take, to allow us to get Weideman or Curnow, if GC don't spoil the party.

Jack is the most overly criticised player in the AFL, all because of his draft position. If he was pick 50 no one would comment. There is a bloke running around for the Giants getting $1.2m a year, playing pretty ordinary football and escaping criticism for his pick 1 position and high salary. I think we will see an improved JW now, especially if he is allowed to settle in one position. BTW, I think he is the leading goal assist at the MFC and probably the best kick for goal. And yes there is a spot in our 22 for him.
