That deal is apparently agreed at a second round pick. Why would it have anything to do with Bugg to us? On another note Plowman is a bigger bust than Toumpas, as he went 3 in the same draft and is now being bundled up with 3 other players for a single 2nd rounder. It does make the Roos philosophy of trading picks for established players fully understandable, due to the uncertainty of the draft. People have gushed over high draft picks, yet so many and especially in our case, have proved to be abject disasters. We have decimated our list by poor draft selections and at least Roos will have turned over 75% of our list by this next ND. ATM our list is looking far better than it was 2 years ago.

I think you will find if you look back at the posts at the time of his draft, that most Demonlanders didn't think Toumpas was worth pick 4 and still don't.

Bugg is not rating a mention anywhere. Strange.

What about Tomlinson and Bugg for 29 and 50.

I am getting more convinced with each passing hour, that we are trying to do another deal with Bugg involved. It is a simple deal for probably our pick 50, yet it is not being done and there appears no angst from anyone about it, nor is it being reported on. We now have only 1.5 days left of the trade period and it doesn't make sense to me otherwise.

There might be more to the Bugg deal as everyone agrees it is a pretty simple one, yet it's still not done.

Think we need to pay Terlich out and get another spot for someone who may have a future at the club.

I wonder, because Tigers are getting hammered by their fans for no activity, if they would go for Dylan Grimes brother with 29 for their 12. Then they do deal for Yarran with 29 and another pick this year or next.

While I am also disappointed so far, to be fair, Toumpas and Howe have devalued themselves over the last couple of years. We may still do some deals. Bugg for 50 improves the deal a bit.

I am interested to see who we chasing as the forward to help Hogan, that was spoken about as a priority.
