GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Atm he is one of the hardest mids in the game, but also one of the least skilled and effective. Needs to get his game back.

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Well here is an idea for lazy Melbourne forwards when Viney has it, get in front, you know it will fall short.

NON MFC: Rd 18 2021
2 Dogs throws in a minute, no problem.

Mac Andrew
Well, if we thought Mac was a real talent, I hope we lobbied to exclude players that maybe clubs had already put years into, spending considerable time and resources. I haven't seen any other player mentioned this year, as an NGA player going top 20, that would affect another club. Great then that it comes into play, after other clubs have reaped the benefit.

I am confident the rule wouldn't have changed if the NGA player was tied to the Cats or Saints.

MFCSS has to exist for a reason and there is another one. Just typical. I still hold hope that he won't go top 20. I can't see a very tall, skinny kid like that ( 70 kgs ), playing for a couple of years. There are other kids in the draft possibly ready to go in the AFL and several clubs may not have the need for a developing ruckman. Can you imagine explaining to your members that you took a kid top 20, that might need 2-3 years before he is ready to play. That is usually the late picks and rookie picks for that type of player.

Anyway, if we donโt get Mac I am pretty sure we will be taking a ruckman somewhere in the main draft or rookie draft. We have Max, LJ and Bradtke who is now being developed as a key back. We are thin in the ruck if we get an injury to Max or LJ.

Is he as good as Grundy, who was ready to go and went 18? Anyway if he comes to us great and if he doesnโt, so be it.

Letโs throw some MFCSS in. If he goes top 20 to another club he will end up the greatest player in the history of the game. If he slips and we get him, he wonโt be good enough to get a game for Casey.

How do Bulldogs do it?
I am happy to allow throws that look like handballs to most observers, as that is the way sport is umpired. They can't see everything and get every decision right. I am more concerned at blatant incorrect decisions, like ducking, push in the back, htb etc.

How do Bulldogs do it?
Pick umpires who know the difference between a handball and a throw and are professional enough to pay what they see.

Either do I. Hunter and Daniel match Selwood for ducking. Both again got frees for it yesterday. Commentators just laugh. Libba's throw was a beauty. Also loved Daniel running about 35 metres without a bounce from a kick out. Hilarious. Then the umpires call an 8 meter kick 15. So what do they think Daniel's run was?

Perfect game could be the Darwin game for him, being fresh and with lots of hype around the game.

Coach with Aging Team Wants Shorter Quarters
The extra 60 rule is coming in too. Any Victorian team that is based more than 60 kโs from Melbourne, each season, gets an extra top 10 draft pick, a guaranteed 10 games at their home ground, 5 extra fees in front of goal each game, 25 more rotations each game, 19 allowed on the ground in each game, 25% more on the salary cap and unrestricted father/son and NGA players as well as anyone who says they once visited Geelong or have even heard of it. Also a finals wild card if they miss the 8 and a captainโs protest, to be used in any losing final, to have the result reversed.

85-90000 people and the money it brings is the answer.

Hopefully we play Dogs and Cats at a time they canโt change ladder position.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
Hopefully we keep him on and make him into at worst, another good depth player. TBH we only have 3 real rucks on the list and 2 of them are quite young.

CASEY: Rd 13 vs Werribee
Didn't see the first 3/4 but commentators saying Bradtke beat Buzza a former AFL player. Bradtke playing in defence last few weeks.

Too much wine.

Similar builds, long hair, long sleeves and a 5 in the number, make it understandable to some degree. Then again it is their damn job to know better.
