I am a bit surprised at how the general tone of the football world seems to have changed in the last month. Not long ago people ( that includes the football media) used to talk about us in tones that were either completely dismissive, or tones that suggested sympathy for our "patheticness" (my invented word) Geez its changed lately......... Now serious commentators seem to talk about us with a mixture of surprise and genuine hope. If we beat the Tiges, and my tip is that we will ( yeah im usually a pessimistic bastard i know ), the tone will change again to " these Dees are the real deal, yes or no ?" I am gonna PM a certain poster on here for direction on how to properly [censored] oneself if (when) we win on Sunday.

We beat the Filth in a game they have pumped themselves up for.... and we beat them convincingly. Now read tomorrows papers and see how Colonwood are "in crisis", and MFC barely rate a mention.

Mate.... I was so upset after the game today, I just try and look for the positives. In contrast to last week I thought we played very well. We have a decent team building for sure. I cant just see positives any more. I have tried... all i can see any more is the end result. As i said the the other poster who sent me a PM, if we had beaten Essendrug i would probably have been really happy with todays effort. Bloody druggies........ i blame them............ and Whiskey...... Whiskey is also to blame.
