Hate? People expressing an opinion that he has underperformed badly this year? Not sure that’s hate. Most have given him plenty of time to shine and he’s less than delivered. I’d rather see Harley back in the side this week, I don’t this Milky will win or lose is the game and HB will be interesting to see where he’s at.

Nothing stinks, besides the thread, people bag Spargs and Kossi. I’d rather have ANB than Mr Wingard.

I thought this was a lol thread?! Wingard?! He’s gone from choccies to boiled lollies very quickly, a trade the “incredible, invincible, amazing” Graham Wright and Clarko would desperately want to have back. Seemed crazy at the time and worse now (like [censored] terrible now). Why the hell would anyone want this player now, it’s been a disaster and at 27 he ain’t getting any better (besides looking for Deegirl).

If we make it and that occurs only have to blame "ourselves".

Interesting!! First time I recall seeing it but probably happens often. I suspect those umpires won’t be getting any finals games.

The point I always think of during the game is “is the player running through the “protected area” impeding the player with the ball from playing on quickly/being able to move the ball on quickly?” (Poorly worded form me as well) If yes then a 50 needs to be given, the idea of the rule should be to allow the game to flow better/faster and umpires have relaxed the interpretation.

Seems to work for football managers plus a multitude of other sports coaches. I can’t think of many team sports where the Head coach is so far away from the players during play. Certainly not thinking it’s the panacea for the current ills but as I said it was nice to see Goodwin so animated and involved, which has been a big bear of the multitudes on here.

How good was it to see him on the boundary at the end, like a “football” manager pacing the sidelines. It looks like he should do it more often as he seems to get his message across better and faster to the group.

When I saw that I couldn’t believe it was allowed, isn’t the free supposed to go to the player who won the free ie Trac should have been called back to take his free? Or was it an advantage play on? Even then I thought it had to be Trac to take the ball to take the advantage.

I agree, the same nightmare that unfolds week after week, we just don’t seem to be able to stop a run on/we don’t have game breakers who can get us over the line.

Im sure his strategy was just that, the pan to the coaches box when he looked lost was after a Melb turn over that lead to a goal. He couldn’t believe the last 5 mins of that qtr. I’ve been on Goodwin the last few weeks, that half was players lead drop off. Anyway on to a % boosting win for us...

Not true, our defence (read Steven May) holds up very well and we have enough chances to be in front but our players (tonight) have let the coach down.

Maaatteee how good is the south of France! Stayed in Aix for a couple of weeks on the honeymoon and travelled around the area. Also stayed in Pertuis for a week and did the same thing. The smells and sounds of Provence in spring..

Sorry Dazzling I have blocked out the previous week... Yeap he’s very lucky. Unless Harley is injured you’d think they should get him some more game time this season ahead of the ANBs.

ANB you can forgive being first game back, Melky.... not so much even with the tagged role he played last week.
