Yea going to be ugly, bringing in 2 guys with skill issues let alone for their first game of the year in the 1's against one of the best pressure sides in the comp. let alone Grimes back. Not a great looking side but hope prevails.

Yes but was the computer an Essendon computer? Or was it a computer that was used by an Ess employee but not an actual Dons laptop/pc ie a personal computer/laptop they used to maintain the correct records of the program.

If the "game" is not strong enough to endure 1 club getting a hammering then it was never strong enough. This whole "the game" line drives me nuts, this will be a blip in history, remembered but not worried about to much within cycle of player turn over. Again the correct out come must be delivered, if that means the club gets 2-4, so bet it, I guarantee there is an AFL/dons contingency plan in place ready to go. Ie the club folds in its current form but reforms as a different entity and on they go.

Lu haven't they had a choice? To cooperate fully with ASADA and tell them all they know (Cronulla?) or not cooperate at all and let this drag out for years...

Will this mean players can/will be traded against there will? This will potentially damn smaller clubs further. If they do not have the internal personal in place to be best placed to identify players, you will see teams trade away draft picks for good players who may be on the way out, or for players or are NQR. I look to the Washington NFL team as an example. Only 1 example but I fear smaller clubs who can't spend as much in the player talent identification side of things may get this wrong and spend another 5 years in the wood pile. I should add I think equalisation should be the main focus to assist clubs in being more competitive, clubs being able to better identify draft talent and develop that talent. -
Why would his guy or anyone of note come to MFC? Maybe in 2 years time if we start making the 8, otherwise is it over paying for B graders and players who have not had a shot at other clubs.

D2014/anyone is it an appeal only relayed to TB4 or does it also review everything that may have occurred?

Ssssooooo what are WADA going to go after them for? Is it just an appeal on TB4 or on whatever else they "may" have taken that was against WADA rules at that time?

Again this line of "the game" doesn't fly. It is no longer a game, it is a business. BIG business. The game (AFL) has been trying to brush it under the carpet. The game will go on, in some form, long after the final outcome is finally decided. A tiny blip in history and no one in the future will care of it as much as we do now. Over blown significance in our own time.

Biff they love him though. Even if the hammer drops, samples are tested and it is inconclusive that they were given 4 different kinds of band materials will the players, on mass, sue him? Also someone mentioned that other day about the Dons having to supply full details in the Hal Hunter case. Very surprising that has been kept out of the media, do I smell a settlement?

But where are the quality online "blogs"/sites that are not affiliated with the AFL asking these questions? There are a number sites in the US, UK where they are counter points to the news media that has some conflicts as they are involved in those sports. We just seem to have a dearth of counter points on this that is being communicated in any media.

Who is putting the AFLPA to the sword? What have they done to protect there member base?? From the outside f all. They have one club in trouble and stories (unfounded at this stage) of many other clubs doing illegal things as well.

Good news. How long will this process take? Can't wait to read the Tird camps news stories claiming they have nothing to hide, they can't wait to defend themselves and have the truth come out and what martyrs they are. -

But it is a big step up from playing ok in the magoos to playing ok let alone playing well in the 1's especially of you have not played many 1's games. Give him a couple of weeks and hopefully we see some development.

Stick with that feeling, I don't think SWans are in Freo league this year but they will beat us comfortably.
