The umpiring standard in this game is ridiculously bad. No mark given when it was a clear mark and then a holding free given the wrong way. The commentators were shocked at how bad that was.

It wasn’t a pointed analysis of today’s game. It’s a clear focus of the club and is prevalent throughout all club media produced. Like it or not, we are too nice on and off the field. We need to become ruthless.

It’s time for the club to become unsociable and show some toughness rather than increasingly focusing on the woke and feel good.

Why won’t Melbourne make the perceived hard call and not play players who aren’t in form. Petty is currently useless. Hunter should not have come in the team when he did. Disco is not a forward. Petty is a complete liability at the moment and should be back at Casey. Is the reason he is playing is so that we can keep his price tag high? It isn’t working.
