Moneyball option as depth. Has skill but has struggled to get on park and probably down on confidence. If reports are true that he has 2 years left on 500K a year and Saints are willing to cover part of contract then he could be a low cost depth option as mid/half forward type.

Which one. Could only trade Petty if we have a trade deal agreed for a quality key forward. By key forward I mean a player who can at least halve long balls in like Petty can by taking pack marks or bringing the ball to his feet. Petty is also smart on the lead and an accurate kick which is strangely under rated. So who could we unlock? Otherwise hold Petty for 24 and 25 as a key player in push for 14 and see where he is at end of 25 re going home.
